| Be willing to be humiliated! I've been reading a lot of threads and seeing a lot of players talking about bad beats, losing to b/c other players play poorly, etc... The post goes something like I had AJ and the guy hits a set on the turn and sucks out on me...this such crap and so on and so on. I've fallen into this trap b4 as well. Asking myself why/how did this guy call? And why/how did was he/she ever allowed to win with that horrible play? This is not a positive way to think about a hand if you are looking to improve your game. Remember the most successful people surround themselves with people who are smarter than they are. That's why I'm here at CC. My advice to all players is don't be afraid to be humiliated. Post the hand history and let these people in this chat room BLOW your hand and your game to pieces. IT'S NOT PERSONAL so don't take it personally. Everyone has holes in their game. Letting someone else show you how inexperienced you are takes courage. It's also how you learn. Drop the ego, be willing to change your game, admit it's your fault that you not winning so you can start winning. |

| I agree with you...if we want to learn the best way to do it is ask the others (better then ourselfs) to review our hands...even if we have done some terrible plays...no one borns an expert...u have to work hard to get good in something... |
