I still say(without relevant stack sizes and blind levels, position)you did not play those hands right. If you can find the HH's please post as we cannot give proper advice without the proper info. |

| You need to start the action From the way you describe it, you are checking these hands to the agressor and they push, thinking you don't have a hand. Maybe if you led out and bet, they would back down and you take the pot, instead of a bad beat. Hand Histories would help us help you. |

| pay If i start out with trip2 on the flop, sumeone will pay dearly to see the rest of the cards.Plus dont be afraid to reraise a few, this will get their attention..before they make their hand tho...i guess ya need some practice perhaps...and try switching up your play..show a bluff, then tighten..and so on..mix it up. |

Why check? it lets the other guy think they are ahead, so they bet big/push. And, in the first one, you have 22 on a flop of 278, then you check????? why? he could be drawing to the straight, the flush draw(if there was one) or even have 2 pairs, another set, etc. You have to bet to show you have a hand and are willing to play it, and you also bet to gather information. Post a HH or two when you get time, please? KD |

| As the others say, please post HH's. Aparty from that it looks like your slow-playing alot, which is generally a very bad idea at micro stakes, bet your monsters. I know its hard to do but dont complain about people calling your AI with air, you might lose the odd one or two a week (or more if your on a downer) but eventually this will even out and in the long run these guys will practically give you their money on a plate. Gotta look at the big picture! |

| I dont think you are anyone special. We all have gone through those periods where nothing works. You have a shorter history than most. From Feb to now you are pretty good if you went from 0 to $11. Get used to this happening. Its called variance. You still are ahead. Wear it like a badge. What you are lacking in your game seems the most important part of poker. That is AGGRESIVENESS. You can play tight but unless you develop the aggresive side of your game you are not playing poker. One excercise might be for you to play a micro tournament and open up your range of playing hands. Any 2 Broadway cards, A/rag, any pair, etc. Never limp. If you are going to bet, raise. See how this feels. No matter what the outcome. It might open up your game into a more active, aggresive, and winning one. |

Sure it blows to get sucked out on (esp a backdoor draw), but IMO there is nothing wrong w/ your play. I'd probably lead out w/ my T8, but if i had a read on the guy that said he bluffed w/ position when he's seen weakness then check/call, chk/raise is more than ok. Just a horrible run of cards, as overstated as this is... At least your getting in with him crushed. |

| lately when i've been playing on FT, the aggression has been fierce, i'm not an aggressive player, yet when i get pockets i tend to bet them big or even all in, but i have folded a lot of winning pockets to aggressive all in bettors, i guess i have to learn a little better about the aggressive players |
