I used to play for fun because it was a chance to socialize with my friends, then I played for fun because I liked the excitement and challenge of the game.
In the recent past I've played for money and the fun went away because it seemed like a job. |

I play poker because it's a game of stragedy and requires a lot of thinking. Essentially, it's a battle of wits and balls. Who has the guts to make a move and who had the better gameplan? You can never stop learning about the aspects of poker playing. It's also a good adrenaline rush when a tournament gets into the mid to late stages and you have a good change to win. It's a bonus that you can win money with it and it's a great way to socialize with your friends.

I believe in poker the way I believe in the American Dream. Poker is good for you. It enriches the soul, sharpens the intellect, heals the spirit, and - when played well, nourishes the wallet. ~Lou Krieger
