Why do my opponents get dealt high pairs so often?
It's like the average opponents gets a high pair once every 15 or 20 hands. Meanwhile, I usually get a pair of aces kings queens or jacks about once every 500 hands.

Your opponents will be getting higher pocket pairs more simply because there are 8 of them and one of you.
I played in a home game with my friends today, one guy got kings twice, another got fours, and another got 5's. The 5's turned into quads, one of the kigns flopped sets, the other lost a big pot (I got trip tens )I got two pocket pairs, and they weren't till heads up. First fives, which I used to take down a small pot on the flop (no set), then I got deuces, which flopped a set, turned a ful house, and rivered into quads for the win. So while I got two pocket pairs, I saw a total of like 10 throughout the night. |

I went over 4,000 hands once without being dealt pocket aces. (4,019 to be exact)
Over the last 3 days I was dealt 90 pocket pairs. The odds say that I should flop a set once every 8 times. I've had exactly 1 flopped set out of those 90 hands. On that hand I won the blinds only. The last 3 times I had pocket aces, the only other person to call my preflop raise hit a set and I got destacked. All three times. Tonight I've gone 145 hands so far without hitting anything better than middle pair except once. That one hand I hit TPTK and the fellow called me down with middle pair and it hit again on the river. I won a total of 7 hands, always just the blinds. Twice preflop, once on the flop with a cbet with nothing, and twice when I hit a 2 on the flop and it got checked down when I was in the BB. I'm 4 for 39 in races (all in preflop, always in SNG's when the situation was appropriate.) Think about that and then try to complain about running bad and not getting your fair share of high pocket pairs. |

Because you touch yourself at night
Unless your playing heads up or referring to one opponent specifically I believe its because everyone else is cheating:P or just because there are more of them so if your playing lets say 5 other people at a 6 max table they will get a high pocket pair roughly 5 times as often as you I believe. |

Pocket Aces aren't all that great...
You know, I'm not so sure I even like pocket Aces. My Aces get cracked more than any other pocket pair. At least Aces hurt the most. Got so many new players online goin all in on any face card that a high pocket pair just isn't what it's made out to be. My experience has been to bet high but don't go all in till the flop, unless you got like a 3 to 1 chip lead at your table, or your on the edge of elimination!
