Who is Gary Aldendyce

I like to play .20-.40 ML mixed game at full tilt poker.
There is a room called Bank of Gary.
Its the only .20-.40 ML mixed game table.
So essentially its a 5 player room cause this guy always has a seat reserved but he's never there.
Is this dude famous or something, anyone know him. I googled him and nuttin came up.

Anyone can "buy" a table at FTP for only 750 Iron Man medals, so he's probably just some random who did that. The table gets named after your player ID and you always have a reserved seat. You get to request stakes and game type.

Nothing special.

Honestly it's not that hard to get enough IM points to do it. I think it's only like 750 IM points (slightly more than a $100 bonus) to buy one, but it really only makes sense if you play a game that doesn't run very much and you always want a seat imo. Outside of that it's just an ego thing.

Your son in the picture looks way too happy. Have you not told him that he will live in WV?

It would be the ego thing for me, plus would be cool when I get a game going I could say Search me, instead of pooffyfooffy or room whateverone I pick.

Yes, that's why he's so happy. He gets to breathe clean air and live among great people while being only 100 miles from our nation's capitol. There is no where else I'd rather be.

You can do a nine player table if you want. You get to pick stake, game, and number of players (not sure if you get to pick the table name or if it has to be your screen name).

No doubt, probably a much nicer place than here.

Poffy, while it may seem like a good idea to save up and get the table, for the stakes we play, it would be totally worthless and the 100$ bonus would be much more worth it. Having the extra 100$ would be the only ego boost you need Swell that account balance.

I don't know you do live on a tropical island although I've heard that T&T does have some crime issues. How far are you from the mainland of South America? Do you go there often?

A one hour flight to mainland Venezuela and Guyana. Tbh, we are not a tropical island. It may be considered so by most but the true fact is that there was a land form that use to connect Trinidad to Venezula when Columbus 'discovered' us and we are more Venezualan that true Caribbean (in terms of oil, land formation etc) and well Tobago is natural Caribbean beauty. 1 republic, 2 really different islands. Crime is really a huge issue and its in all forms. We are a connection for drug trafficing from South America to England and it is getting really bad now. I recon that the drug money coming in is what is keeping the country alive and keeping it from being a real hell hole. Seriously, the beaches and everything that make the Caribbean a premier tourist destination are by far inferior in Trinidad. compared to every other island (exception of Haiti which sad because they played such an important role in our history)
