Now I've got World Series fever all over again - this usually happens around June though . Looking at the events I literally want to play them all. Have they jigged up the order from last year? I swear mixed holdem was event #1. . Anyhoo if anyone has a spare $8k lying around I'd love to relieve you of it and play #18 and #45, oh and I guess I shouldn't miss the 50k HORSE again, that was a mistake last year in such an easy field.

I'd probably play in at least a few of the cheap ones if I were 21. Stupid rule IMO. Is it sad that I could care less about drinking alcohol and that I'm looking forward to playing poker in casinos more than drinking legally?

What I do normally is put on two gold knuckleduster rings and walk into the casino shouting and swearing and manage to pass myself off as devilfish - works every time

On july 16th i will be in my friends basement with about 5 other guys watching the main event live.

anybody else try this?

We did it last year and it as pretty fun guessing hole cards, etc. It sorta sucked though when I watched the broadcast with the hole cards displayed, for I already knew the winner, etc.

If things work out right for me I'm going to shoot for 9, 15, 22, 51. And if I do good I'll be in the ME.

through the main event i will be taking my chances with the pros gone, and will be grinding the full tilt sitngos. Ill set my own main event after 20 sitngos, then have a dart at a larger buy in sitngo on the 16th.

Karen, if you seriously can play 9 or 15, let me know. I would love to play those (especially #9). It's a long shot, but you never know, I might be able to pull it off.

Got a couple of things that might happen in the beginning of the new year and if they do, I'm going to go. A special treat for me

And it would be cool to play with you.

Don't let Rachel see this!

Well having played in the Stud8 in '06, and not going in '07, I would love to return in '08 and play #26 Razz. For anyone going that hasn't been, it's an awesome experience and well worth it. Any true poker fan has to go and play at least 1 event in their lifetime.

Only thing that held me back this year from playing a couple events was the birth of my daughter. I yell at her everyday for that (its a joke people ).

My wife and I are already planning on taking a week off in June. I just haven't decided if I will play in #2 and #7 or #27 and #32. It really depends on if my wife wants to play in the ladies event. Hope to see a good showing of CC'ers... not just AG.

27 and 32 probably have slightly higher value, since #2 has basically becoming ME#2 for poor schlubs.

They may be famous for their tv show over there - but here, id be suprised if any more than a handful of people know them.

Definitely have to go at least once in a lifetime...won't be able to go in '08 and probably won't be going in '09. Someday though I'm gonna play there. Nice for me to set that goal/dream to achieve. Right now, just have to get out of school and find a job to start/pump up my bankroll and hopefully work my way up to being able to go.
