Where can I find inexpensive WSOP chips?

I'm looking for the heavy chips that have "World Series of Poker" on each chip, but I can't seem to find any... and those I find on eBay that claim they are WSOP don't seem to have any logo's on the chips plus S&H is crazy... $25-$50 bucks in S&H!

Anyone know where I can find some solid chips that I'll want to use? Got some at Wal-Mart for $19.95 that look and feel good, but they're not as good as the WSOP chips... not as heavy.

I honestly think they're non-existent due to the fact that they don't want you entering the event and adding to your stack via chips from your pockets or elsewhere.

This is from another forum....I googled it...whether it's true or not, I'd have to believe it. "and The companies making those chips only deal with casinos and Harrah's can't sell chips with their name on them for legal reasons." The chips also state on them: "NO CASH VALUE"

The Ebay ones are probably a very, Very cheap knock-off. If you're looking for inexpensive wsop chips they won't be authentic because they are expensive make b/c they aren't imported, at least that's what I've read.
I've seen them in a plastic encasing sold as expensive card protectors though.

Funny that this question came up. I was at Gamer's Paradise tonight and was nosing around in their limited poker section. They had a case of WSOP branded poker chips. I'll take a prop that they aren't real WSOP chips (since they seem to look so much different), but they are marked as such. So if you are just looking for a set that says WSOP, they are out there.

WSOP would be nice, but I just want some really "heavy" and nice chips that look good.

Well, if it is just heavy you are looking for, go out on e-bay. The heaviest chip on the market right now that I'm aware of is the 13.5g chip. And you can find a good deal on e-bay if you pay attention to the s/h charges and shop carefully.

I am going out on a limb here but there is a really informative website called.... chip talk . net

A mod can delete this post but the website is pretty informative and will give you a lot of info about poker chips.

I went to Overstock.com, typed "poker chips" in search, and came up with this: http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2....ROD_ID=1093397

It's a 500 count 12g set that retails (they say) for $599, but Overstock's price is $92.99. Standard shipping is $1.00. Comes w/ aluminum case, 2 decks of cards and dice.

Really, if you just Google "poker chips", you'll get a plethera of sites to browse.
