to be honest, I've played Omaha a few times and have learned folding such low cards is very common if you dont hit a str8 or str8 flush draw. If I'm wrong in my reasoning, can someone correct me so I don't make a foolish mistake when playing omaha.

re: When do you fold 4 of a kind? poker Shame it wasnt Stud eh Had a guy slow play JJJJ in stud the other day. Slow played it right from 4th to 6th. Got paid off fairly well as it happened. Probably the only hand at 4th where you actually do your best to let people catch up.

I got AAAA in a short-handed limit Omaha hi-lo game a couple of months ago. Almost played it just because I knew no-one could have the nut low hand, and I might be able to bluff some people out by betting it hard... (however I folded it).

Sad thing is, in Omaha, being dealt a pocket 4 of a kind really isn't that great of thing (except when it comes to screen caps). Makes it that much harder to improve your hand to win. A simple pocket pair of aces has you beaten already. But it does make for a cool screenshot.
