I know mine used to be my agression. I have been controlling it alot better. Sometimes i felt if i raised preflop and its checked to me i have to bet which is wrong. Even if i wasnt the preflop raiser and checked to me i would bet or if i was out of position and they were only calling i would just keep betting into them. People just started to slowplay me everyhand. I mix it up alot more though now and try to keep them somewhat confused on my style of play.

giving credit

I keep getting caught calling what I think are bluffs from LAG players. Figure I'm right half the time, but the half that I'm wrong costs a lot more chips than any gained.

Mine would have to be I'm not aggressive enough.

In a league w/ about 25 players and I am the only one who has made all 4 of our final tables (top 6). Twice I've placed in the money (top 4). But I never can seem to get into the top 2. I've finished top 3 once.

By the time I get to the final table, I don't have enough chips. I'm in survival mode. But the problem I see is - the guy w/ the massive chip stack is always diff. That shows me that there is no consistency to their game. But we have enough donks that they (diff person each time) amass huge chip stacks.

In two of our tourneys - there was a massive chip leader at final table. Both times they made it heads up w/ a 3 or 4 to 1 advantage - AND LOST.

So part of me thinks it's not a leak because I am consistent...but that means I'll never WIN.

to be sucked in

to be sucked in by a weak bet at the river.... I always think, "well I already got x dollars invested in this pot, what's a bit more".... if he really had the nutz he woulda bet more.... and I wind up donating even more to a lost pot.

Ive more or less went through almost all the problems you guys have mentioned one time or the other, and my biggest leak? Hmmm... playing too tight I think, sometimes I feel that alot of people get away with a bluff on me by betting huge into the pot or going all in. I throw away alot of good hands, unless im almost sure Im the winner. There I just gave away my secret....

- Not value-raising/betting often enough on the river (definitely #1).
- Folding too many marginal hands getting good pot odds when multitabling (may not actually be a leak - I generally do this because I don't want to have to make too many potentially 'tricky' decisions at the same time).
- Not shoving enough with the big stack on SNG bubbles (though again, many donks will call you so lightly at the lower levels that this may not actually be a leak either).

But I, much like anyone else, probably don't know what my biggest leak is, because if I truly were aware of it I would have taken steps to resolve it, and hence it wouldn't be my biggest leak anymore.

Playing too tight. I am getting better but it has been a struggle to learn to put enough into my raises and to play more than just premium hands.

1) Playing too loose when I've just lost a big hand/pot (Thinkig what the hell am I doing in this pot?)
2) Playing too loose when deep stacked and the blinds are high.
3) Patience. Especially when the table is supertight, still full after the blinds have gone up a few times... I start to make donk moves to break the stalemate (and usually end up being the first out).
4) Not being able to fold KK pre-flop. )

#1 all time favorite...controlling the table, but NOT my surroundings while playing....I'm learning to take the dog out BEFORE multi-tabling instead of once I have Ace paint on three and he's hopping around cross-legged

Not letting go of the bluff. Think that has to do with being a very aggressive player.

My biggest leak, or what I perceive as my biggest leak, keeps changing. This is probably a function of still learning the game.

A month ago it was playing too many mediocre holdings from early or mid position.

Then it was going too far with hands after completing from the SB (now SB is one of my most positive net positions, something weird there).

Now the biggest issue seems to be limping from the button or cutoff behind multiple limpers. I need to 1) raise if I've got a decent hand, 2) raise if I don't have a hand but think I can take the pot, 3) fold, and only limp if I've got a small PP or connectors.

Maybe the leaks aren't changing, more likely they were all there from the beginning and I just have to deal with them one at a time.
