Whats this new law guys???

Hello all.

I might have been living in the dark ages for the past week (working too hard!!!) but I overheard something on TV about some law affecting on line poker. Whats this all about and can you give me a link???

I live in the UK so I don`t know if it is a UK thing.

As for the ban, from what I can make out, it doesnt affect us UK players directly, ie we can still play anywhere.
But, our brothers/sisters across the pond are having a sh*tty time of it, and you can understand why. For the country that's meant to be the 'Land of the Free', it doesnt seem like they have much freedom, particularly over something so enjoyable, fun, relaxing, etc, as poker.
I'm currently uninstalling any poker sites that do not allow US players(as I understand they can still play at them, for the time being(correct me if I'm wrong, guys), and switching bankrolls to my main english site(vc). I'm still with costa, which doesnt allow US players, but that may change in the future.

yep, but I live in Torquay, not much work in my line of work. Have a dead-end job at mo, so no problem. Reason I asked about Angel, was that I used to work for Scottish and Newcastle brewery/alcohol company, in middle management, just outside London, but had to work in Felling, Newcastle, for 4 weeks a year at the main depot. Always remembered the Angel on my way up the motorway, she's a beauty.
