Whats a good blind structure for a small home game?

I am having a 9 person home game. I want a blind structure that doesnt go up so fast that we are done in 2 hours. We use to double blinds every 15min. starting at 10/20. That was kind of stupid since we started with 3000 in chips. Obviously no one respected the blinds. Does anyone have any structure they use for home games that works well?

ermm give everyone 5000 chips and put the blind levels at 20mins. Lookin at very deep stack game with lots of room to make moves.
Use the blind structure like FT does eg: 10/20, 20/40, 30/60, 40/80, 50/100 etc, worked well for me one time.
If ppl dont respect the blinds then meh, it's NL hold'em so let them go nuts.

me and my friends used to just have 50 chips to start blinds 1-2 and every half hour double. They never lasted to long and you usually get a nice heads up match.
