What is your reaction to this?

I couldn't believe what this guy did here...

He raises preflop. I reraise all in. Folds around to this guy who is last to act. He spends about 2 minutes thinking whether to call, asking me things like "do you have a high pocket pair?", "can you beat pocket jacks?" etc. Fair enough, trying to get a read. He eventually reluctantly calls and turns over AA.

Is punching him in the face a valid response here? The rest of the table seemed to be on my side about it being completely out of order so I'd have got support. Probably find myself disqualified/banned though

It is the only response imo.

Not to worry, slowrollers all go to the worst part of hell where they play poker all day, get kings every hand and get slowrolled themselves vs AA for all of eternity.

Seriously, I hate people who do this. If it were live I'm not sure what I'd do, but it would be damn close to clocking him in the noodle.

Yea same here Chuck it really ticks me off too. I mean its understandble if you got someone all in and there are people to act after you, then obv you can take a little time to try and trick other people to call, but in a case i like this i just find it rude and stupid.

Total douchebag act IMO - at the very least I'd give them a warning for needlessly slowing the game up if I were dealing.

Why let something like that bother you?
Obvoiusly you were looking for action or you wouldnt have pushed.
Looks like you got all the action you needed.

Concerning the chat, dont.Never give out info.Hell the only person i've talked to in 50 tounaments this month is bob_tiger..lol

The time restraint...he took what was allowed,if that bothered you and it showed you gave him a tell

Looks like this was a live game. He wasn't upset with the action he got, but rather the way the action was given. If he had quickly called and flipped over AA it woulda sucked but he wouldn't have complained. Instead the other guy had to be a total jerk. If I were the host he wouldn't be invited back.

Oh, not really important, hand played itself, but I had AK, which just added insult to injury as I was as badly dominated as can be

It would have been so awesome if you sucked out on him after he did that. That would be sweet sweet justice.

I know several people in my local home game that sometimes do this, and it really isn't called for to delay the game for that long. I mean sometimes, yeah, ok, you may need to think about it, but asking questions the whole time only to show pocket aces is kind of ridiculous. He knew he wasn't going to throw them away. Why pussy foot around and not just say, "call," and, unfortunately for you, show his rockets?

*cough*douche*cough* Sorry, something in my throat.

Slowrolling is not having fun, it's being a douche.

This is true. It also slows up the game unnecessarily - if they spend a full two minutes doucheing around when it's really a snap call, then that's two minutes when the game could've moved on to the next hand. That two minutes can be important, especially in a tourney situation with rising blinds.

Rubbish.

I don't care if this was the only time he did it - if it was in a game I was dealing, they'd get a verbal warning and then a penalty if they did it again. There's just no reason to waste two minutes here.

Your posts in this thread say more about you than they do about the topic.

Ugh. I hate slow rollers.
I had a guy slowroll flop set of Aces vs my set of 8s after I had shoved his C/R at a casino once. He stalled for almost 3 minutes.

Exactly. It is in the Casino's interest to keep the game going quick. Obviously, if people need time to make real decisions, then its OK.

The only defense this guy might have is that he saw his hand incorrectly. I had this happen to me once with Kings and I checked through cause I thought I had AK
