The time I pushed all in UTG with 10J off suit in a casino when I was short stacked and got called by AJ and the flop gave him two pair (and me bottom pair). I rivered a royal flush. I went on to finish 4th in the tournament, going out with A6 vs K5.

I remember my first time in a real casino. I was playing a $2/4 limit holdem and was holding pocket aces. Flop came QQA. 2 other people at the table had the Q so the pot was nice (around $70 if i remember correctly). The thing I remember is how my hands were shaking as I raked the pot and tried to stack my chips.

Final hand, MTT, $10 buyin, 480 ppl Can`t remember the exact stacks, but chip leader had about 500k, I had 300k, other guy had 250k. Blinds were something like 8k/4k I had A10s on button. Raised 3 times pot. Big stack acting after me called, other guy folds. Flop JQsAh. I bet about 20k, he calls. Turn Ks royal flush !!! I bet about 40k, he calls. And it gets better River Kh. About 170k in pot. I`m left with about 180k - how do I make it look like I am betting with an option to fold. 60K will do. I bet, he puts me all in. I call. He shows AK - FH on river, Oh happy days

Best hand was about 30 yrs ago. At my new to be brother-in-laws stag. Playing 7 card Murder $1/$2 (If you pair the board you pay the pot, than you can raise with what it cost you). I had J6 with 6 showing, I hit a J on 4th street and buddy paired. He paid the pot and than raised same amount, I called. On 5th street I paired my 6. I paid the pot and than raised same amount, he called. By 7th street there was over $2,000 in the pot that I took down with my boat. He had hit a set of 8's. 2K 30 yrs ago was a lot to me. Worst beat was at a final table with 3 left I was chip leader. Holding pkt Ks, flop comes down K 10 10, we got it all in and buddy was holding pkt 10s. I was out next hand in 3rd.

Very first hand ever playing LIVE poker. I'm dealt QQ, put in a moderate raise, 3x BB. Get 4 callers....flop comes Q-10-10. Bet out 1/2 pot, two fold but two callers...turn comes Q, I check it...both go all in. One player had a ten, the other caught his flush on the river. And a long career was been born.....I can't play Q's anymore, they always seem to get me beat...lol.

As chip leader at a final table of a small tourney I pick up J♣ 10♣ on my big blind and call a small raise with 2 additional callers flop comes 9♣ Q♣ K♣. I check, 1st villain bets gets raised by the guy behind him, other player folds I call the raise and the first villain pops it again, the 2nd guy shoves, I take my time before eventually calling hoping to show weakness and entice the first villain in. He goes all in and I call, 1st guy has the nut flush, 2nd guy has a set of 9's and there are no cards left in the deck to help either of them. Royal was impossible because I had the J♣10♣ and quads dont beat a nut straight flush. Its the first time I can ever remember flopping the stone cold nuts where there are 0 cards in the deck to help any person sitting at the entire table, let alone in the hand Last edited by riverboatrat : 1st January 2009 at 5:41 PM.

re: What was your BEST hand? poker Most memorable: Put in what I thought was a good sized raise under the gun with QQ, got 5 callers. Flopped mid set, bet again, got 4 callers. Turn put 3 spades on the board so I checked, everyone else checked. Next card put another spade on the board. I had no idea what suits my cards were, so I checked hoping someone would bet and I could look back at my cards inconspicuously. Everyone checked and I uncovered the nut flush. The players were so loose and inexperienced they probably would have called anything I bet. I started always looking at my cards a second time right before the flop so I won't forget the suits! Strongest: Got to the turn with a good sized pot, lots of chips behind, mid pair and up/down straight flush draw. I bet, other guy pushes all in with about a third of the pot with top pair and A high flush draw. I call and hit a Q high straight flush on the river. I've hit quads a couple times playing live but never could get much value for them. Sweetest read: Final table, 4 players left - me and one other player. Board was 8 high at turn, other guy bets about half my stack. I could tell he was looking for any excuse to get out of the hand. I push all in. He gets pissed, talking about how I have A high and I'll win the hand then folds and shows K high. I show him my Q high. I now have enough chips to play with, he's on tilt and my super tight table image is shattered. They don't know what I'm doing. Last edited by Reducto : 1st January 2009 at 5:46 PM.

I would have too say at a $1/$2 No limit ring game, started wr gdith 40 (minimum allowed) 3rd hand in i get AA raise preflop (10$) person after me raises 30 (putting me all in) i called he had JJ i won, Very next hand i get ak clubs raise too 7$, 2 callers (same guys i doubled up off last hand) Flop A 3c 4c (pair of a's flush draw) bet 10, next guy raises, other guy calls i go all in (same guy from last hand calls) other guy folds. Club on river says it all. so now im up too around $180 or so. VERY NEXT HAND again, i call with 44, the guy that i doulbed up off TWO TIMES IN A ROW, goes all in for 92$, i called he had a j, no a or j hit and i took every last cent from that guy :-)

One of my favorite hands was the time I effectively took out Cinbad in a BoDog tournament. (He had 60 chips - one big blind - left after the hand, so it wasn't technically a knockout.) I raised from third position with A-9 of hearts, Cinbad (who was directly to my left) and one other player called. The flop was 10-9-4 rainbow. I lead out for a little less than 2/3 the pot, Cinbad instantly min-raised, the other player folded, and I called, both to get more information on the turn and because middle pair may be good when you're playing Cinbad. The turn was an Ace. I checked, he insta-shoved, I called, and he showed 8-8. The river missed him, and I won the pot. My favorite part about the hand though, was Cinbad's reaction - he kept ranting in the chat-box about how it should have been obvious that he had a set. I didn't say anything (I don't do chat), but I had to laugh at that. First of all, he clearly didn't have a set. Second, I had played with him enough to know he's fully capable of making a move like that, and it was very satisfying to pick him off.
