What Is Your Bankroll At?

I'm kind of curious as to the kind of "ballas" we got venturing into these forums so no matter how big or small I'd like to know what your current bankroll is at, what site you are on, & what stakes/games do you play.

My current bankroll is at 1,149.79 on Full Tilt. I play MTT's, 10+1 SNG's, & 1/2 NL Cash Games. MTT play is probably my strongest out of the 3. I've been on a sick tear as of late.

It is kind of personal now that I think about it, but yea it is what it is. Atleast we got 1 answer out of me lol.

I see you played a little 6 max cash. I'm more of a fan of that myself. You going to venture there some more or stick with your usual 9 man?

nah that was just sort of me blowing off steam at the lower limits. I'll occaisionally do some HU, 6max, tourneys, HORSE, razz, maybe even other random games just at low limits to blow off the steam, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna stick to FR for the long-term cash.

Op original question, re br? mine is $220.41 total as of today, across 5 sites, plus neteller.
It's on my blog, so I don't care who knows what i have online, makes no difference to me.
And I only play micro stakes, with the odd satty/rebuy when I feel ive got my A game going, other than that it's all fun!

I think we can guess most ppl's bankrolls on a particular site, by the limits they play, and knowing their outlook on BRM, TBH.

I'm not that bothered if ppl know or not what I have on Stars, as I say, most regs on here can sort of guess it anyways.

^^ what jagsti said.

*ahem*

for example I like to have 25 buyins to move up a level. (no real secret, said it before)

I'm playing $50 NL (again no secret)

Therefore you can safely assume I'm playing with somewhere between 25*$50 and 25*$100 in my bankroll

re: What Is Your Bankroll At? poker

I only play live cash I'm right above 3,000.

7 short of my goal for this past year. I blame it mostly on poor BR management. For example, Friday I had a date with a new girl. Naturally I blow some of my cash on new clothes and drinks to make it look like I have a lot of money. $300 later I'm still going home alone. haha

Also crashed a motorcycle this past year and that money (06 zx10r) came out of the bankroll. It will come.

My Bankroll just under $200 on fulltilt I stick to 10NL tables and SNG and MTT under $5. I think ring games are my strongest when I'm focusing. I lose focus every once in a while.

The size of your bankroll is irrelavent, it could be 20k which looks sweet, but if you deposited 40k, it sux. ROI is the best stat on a players ability. As for the Gus Hanson on FT comment, I've seen John Juanda drop 120k in 1/2 hr playing Om 08 on FT.

NCSU graduates should have learned about bankroll management.

EDIT - AG should learn to post 30 minutes slower.

I'm not big on BR management. I can consistenly beat the 1/2 games. It's all how I'm feeling that day whether I play 1/2, .50/1, or .25/50. It's just $$$ baby.

Like I was reading the other day in the The Professor, The Banker, & The Suicide King by Michael Craig. You know the one about the richest poker game of all time with Mr. Beal? Most of the pros (Lederer, Harman, Brunson, Forrest) in there were quoted as saying if you want to move up in levels and make some real $, you have to be willing to gamble, you have to be willing to take a chance with your bankroll. I believe in that 100%.

BTW I'm no NCST graduate lol, just a big big fan. Wouldn't mind being like former graduate Michael Gracz though. He's a pretty solid player. Kind of ironic my friend busted him on 1 of the 2/4 cash game tables a few days ago.

Im a bit of a super BR nit.

I have a BR of about $190 and I play games ranging from .10-.50 and $1-$2 about 95% of the time. I tried playing a few $5 games, but I dont think Im ready for those, 1)Don't think I can beat them consistently and 2)Out of BR comfort zone for me to try and beat the consistently. So, thats a no-go for now. I'll probably stick with the micro buy-ins about 100% until I can get my BR at a comfortable zone to play $5 games or even the $3 games; maybe around $400 or so. Probably more.

re: What Is Your Bankroll At? poker

Unfortunately, I dont have a bankroll.
I dont deposit, because I got a 2 year old son who costs me a lot, and can't afford to gamble. If i could win a freeroll to get started, that would be cool. I've been playing poker since i can remember, so I know my skill's there. But honestly, even though i'm confident in my playing, I just don't have it to risk.
