I would recommend the current MSOP on FT. There are $3.30 buy ins and the qualification rate is usually around 1 in 5. If you qualify you can unreg and your account will be credited with around $16. You can take he money and then try and sat in again. Good way to build up a quick bankroll. Give the MTT's a miss unless losing the cash doesnot matter. Even if you get ITM it is usually not lot. You haveto finish well inside the top 10 to make it worth it.

re: what would you do with $7????? poker I would go for ring games, because there's more volatility in sngs, and you don't want to tilt your whole roll away. But ya, there is not much you can do with $7 bucks. Usually, if you are a decent player, it's like 50/50 that you will either build it up, or lose it all. Hope to build it to $20, stay at small stakes, and you got some hope. If you don't, don't beat yourself up. Happens to me a lot.

The rake at the 0.25 +0.05 $ (20%) is the same as in the 1+0.25 $ games. But they are beatable. Generally 7$ are hard to work with - I'd keep grinding the freerolls (private FR) |

I recently took a $5 dollar freeroll cash and turned it into $200. Not by putting it in some tourney either. I played $1 sng's until i reached about $30 then 2 dollar sng's until about $110 or so then $5 sng's is how I did it. Don't play micro, and don't just stick it all in some tourney.

If knitting was your hoppy surely you'd fork out $50 for some wool and needles. Deposit and try to play a more serious game imo. If $7 is a lot of money to you then by all means, try to get the money over to pokerstars so you can play 25c sit and go's. If I was you though, I'd be taking a shot with the lot.

^^ THIS ^^ hands down. Weak competition at the dollar level. You can usually place in the money - if you use your head. |

Good job on cashing on the FR Patty. If you are going to play the $1 SnG, I would recommend not playing the turbo. Stick to the 6 min. blinds. In a 6 min. blind you can throw away 40 or 50 hands and you won't lose many chips. If you get cold decked in a turbo you are going to be in a world of hurt. And since you have a very limited BR you need to be as conservative as possible with table selection.

Bank roll management does not work with such a small roll. Don't bother building it up before playing. Option #1 - You play 100 hours (or whatever) of freerolls, get an OK bankroll and play with it. You may lose $7 right off the bat, but your bankroll allows you to continue, or you win and continue. Option #2 - You play with the $7 and lose it. You continue to play freerolls and taking the money to tables until you quit running cold and build it up. Option #3 - You play with the $7, win with it, and never look back. In Option #1 you are guaranteeing yourself a lot of extra time at freerolls. Immediatly taking the winnings to the money games guarantees the least amount of time possible in the freerolls. And believe me, it's a lot easier to make money in low stakes money games than in freerolls.

You spent all those hours fighting through the freerolls so I think you might as well use the $7 right away. Obviously it wouldn't be such a good idea to throw it all into a $6 or $7 MTT... play $1 SnGs... I haven't played on tilt for a while so I'm not sure what the SnG buy ins are like. Just play the smaller ones and try your best.

Play $2 or $3 sngs until you build it up something workable or go busto. I can understand why ppl may be against depositing, but unless you have absolutely no way of depositing $50 i'd highly advise you do it. Just give yourself x$ that you are willing to lose, then pick up some extra hours at work or whatever to fund the deposit. Seriously, it makes zero sense to grind freerolls/$1 sngs for several months making like 25c an hour when you can use that time to work to make money to fund your account (granted won't work for everybody given the fact that lots of ppl don't have jobs atm and depositing isn't an option for everybody). The exception to this case would be when you are straight up learning how to play, in which case you should probably be playing freerolls/super micro games until you understand the basics in any case.
