Unless my opponent was a friend or an individual with whom I frequently played I'd steal. If it was someone I knew, I'd wait a few minutes and then steal. Although it isn't the ideal way to win I'd still take it.

If the shoe was on the other foot, would you expect them to do no less?

It is all part of the risk taken with any on-line game.

Ok, who voted to contact support for an even split? You've just won a trophy for participation because if we only gave trophies to winners the losers feeling would get hurt.

I'd take their blinds without giving it a second thought, and I'd expect no different if if was me that got disconnected.

It is your opponents fault that they took the risk of playing a game with a faulty internet connection. Steal! Steal! Steal! Win! Win! Win!
If it is someone I know, it all depends on how much I like the person.

This happened tonight

It wasn't a disconnection but a player got way up in chips and decided to sit out - 6000 to the next which was me at 2000. Well after I knocked out the rest of them, 5 more, they still hadn't come back.
Well, what am I going to do? I don't know when or if they are coming back so I kept calling and ended up with 1st, they still got 2nd place money.
I tried to get the 3rd place guy to play nice and divide up the sitouts chips but he wouldn't so I had to turf him.

That is called collusion, some sites really dont like that and may take some action against it so be careful in the future

As for the question,

steal ftw
fistpump
leave note telling villain to get a new internet connection
