Poker Glossary
Other Glossaries

Tilt: To play wildly or recklessly. A player is said to be "on tilt" if he is not playing his best, playing too many hands, trying wild bluffs, raising with bad hands, etc.

Typically someone goes "on tilt" after something major happens: You make a horrible call, someone makes a bad call and catches up, you lose a lot of money, you win a lot of money, someone talks trash to you and "puts you on tilt" because of your emotions towards what they've said...

Maybe there should be a "Poker Terms" tab up there ^^ somewhere... and we could add "Ben'ed" to it

Tilt is basically getting a little upset over another players play.
When you find yourself "Tilting" its always a good idea to teak a break or suck it up and keep playing, but IMO, if you have to ask then I would say your game is suffering when you "Tilt" .
You can also read about "Tilt" here Tilt (poker - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
Hope this was some help and welcome to cardschat
