What's the deal with Poker Stars????

Since most of the bigger and better online poker sites have shut down to US players, I found Poker Stars to be the easiest way to get money to and from. So of course I started to play mostly at that site.

Now I expect plenty of bad beats and suck outs just like any other site online. And like any other veteran playing online, my game of course is adjusted for online play.

But I have never witnessed such endless abuse as what I'm seeing at pokerstars. Boats losing to bigger boats, sets losing to bigger sets, etc. etc. And its not just bad players getting lucky. From my two months playing at pokerstars, I've seen the underdog no doubt winning more, then any where else I played.

Its at the point that when you see something like AA vs QQ, you could bet money on the QQ spiking. If I was able to wager on outcomes I could probably make money at Poker Stars instead of wanting to jump on a knife.

Obviously, its time to move on, and I'm open to experiences and suggestions for other sites.

Nope. It's no use. ALL online poker is rigged, especially Stars. It's just so obvious that these sites would have every reason to skew towards bad beats. Nothing would ever happen if they got caught.

It's best to stick to live poker, but I've heard that's rigged also. How about chess?

Just make sure the next time you go all in to be holding 72 off-suit, a small pair or K4. Remember the worst hand wins

You need to read that new book out... "What No One Is Saying About Online Poker". That will give you a better idea of whats really going on, and some good ideas on how you might be able to overcome the online game.

If you know what the outcome will be then surely you know which hands to play?

I know how this poster feels, Im done with pokerstars, they have the worst bad beats I have ever seen at a poker site, I see the word rigged popping up, maybe what the guy is trying to say is that, there are too many monster hands flopping out, many people would say the odds on these hands coming out as many as they do, would not be in the realm of any logical odds.

seriously though, if your PP Aces get cracked from runner runner for a straight or flush, then you obviously are not betting enough preflop and that's where the badbeats come from, but as for KK being beat by QQ b/c of the Q spiking on the river, well..........THATS POKER.
Its not rigged, and I put a gypsy curse on all those who mention that online poker is rigged from this point on, and I'm not fkn joking, I'm sick and tired of ppl saying online poker is rigged when its just bad players making bad calls, or those that are complaining just suck at poker and should find another hobby!
You whiners make me sick!!

Also, from the same sketch I think-"What is the deal with the black box? It's the only thing to survive the crash...why don't they make the entire plane out of the black box?!" Classic.

You have been warned cranko, therefore I curse you with "Badbeat".
From this point on you'll suffer the most badbeats ever in your history of online poker.
To remove curse, post a pic of yourself inflicting pain on yourself using a hammer to impact your genitalia

You gotta understand that it will happen often because there's thousands and thousands of hands being played at once, so the chances are same.

I find that if you wear a foil hat ...

I find that if you wear a foil hat while playing online you can stop the online sites from "fixing" the games.

I try to get "up" to the live tables a few times a year, and from what I've experienced, bad beats and poker goes together. When I call a 20 chip raise with a 7-8 suited to an AK?.....and hit two pair on the flop and bide my time till he hits his A, then smack him on his ass.....here comes the crying....."dumbass!" "freakin' idiot".......we've all heard it I'm sure. But hey folx.....this ain't 2 card guts now is it? If big slick and pocketrockets won every time they came up....you think our game would be as popular as it is? Well hell no. ANY two cards can win.....and ANY two cards can lose......it's just that the better cards win more often.

Just leave the play money tables. That doesn't happen in cash games.

Revelation !!!!!!

Pick a card, any card.

It aint us that are experiencing the bad beats, it is not us who are playing the cards right or wrong, it is the cards who are playing us! Ad they know exactly what they are doing. To the cards we are the be all and end all of thier entertainment.

I overheard 2 sixes the other day complaining to an 89 offsuited couple about the twit from Memphis who actually thought he was in control with a pair of ones!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, you picked the wrong card!...Rigged!
