what's the biggest trny you won?

what the title says , what's the biggest you won in terms of people and money. I won a bunch of SnGs and MTTs but I have not had great luck with the biggest trnys. However I did win 2 big ones and both were at a buy in of $2 with around 500 players and cashed out over 200$ each time. I do manage to go deep sometimes in these trnys but its hard to make the money. I also want to know what is the most money you guys are willing to pay to enter a tournament?I try to stay below $10 althoug I think I have paid $20 once to enter. I want to be more consistent at these lower levels before I start playing for some big bucks. So how do you guys do in these ?

Before that I had won one of the now defunct "Bluff Poker Tour" tournaments (a $10 + $1 event) for around $350.
Also, I final tabled one of the cardplayer/Bodog events for $85 recently (how sweet would it be to win TWO trips to vegas !).

my biggest was th loyaler freeroll. i won 200 bucks

My biggest win is 1st in a $10+1 tourney, Winning $1080.

I won 1k in the 10k freeroll on prima skin betonbet poker without a deposit and got my $$$ transferred out next day.

I won 10k in live game bad beat jackpot playning 3/6 limit. Jacpot was 20k, I had losing hand pocket 10/10 lose to A's full.

I won 12k in live game bad beat jackpot playng 7 card stud 1/5 limit. Jackpot was 25k. I had A's full beat to quads > 3's <

I won 8k in live game bad beat jackpot. Jackpot was 32k. Playing 1-4-8-8 1/2 half and half. I had winning hand Q high strt flush beat to lower strt flush

Mine's ~$5k beating out about 1100 players to win the FTP $25 guaranteed, just this February

I've won a few for 1400 to 1700, best 1st place was live for around 1200.

My heartbreaker was in a special HollyWood Poker tourney last year before it became illegal for US players. 14k first place and when we hit the final table I was chip leader with double the tallest stack ... I made a few key mistakes and donked off to get 7th for only 1700.

Man I havent done much then , I didnt know we had so many big ballers in here. I agree with Chuck in that 1K would be just enough to make me happy for a few weeks. I think maybe I need to bluff more in these trnys because alot of times I dont get cards and then I am shortstacked and have to make a final move. I am not saying I never bluff but I rarely try those big bluffs you see in tv where you wrestle the chips aways from the big hand. Its hard to pull this of online because you just dont know what type of player you are up against and you see alot of call stations.

I don't play tourneys much but I've had at few cashes in the $150-$200 range... one winning a $1 tourney with about 800 entrants, and one coming 3rd or 4th in a $20 tournament spring to mind.

However I've won much more than that on a single hand in a cash game, both online and live.

Around $1,300 on FT in a $26 MTT
Around $1,850 on Stars a while back in an $11MTT thanks to a 4 way final table deal.

Lots of other final table apperances, but they are the best.

Nada this time around (havent played for a couple of years). Progressing my play slowly though. Won 3 USD or something like that at Unibet last night coming 21 out of 12000.

Largest field I ever beat was 1521 in a #1 Nl Holdem on PS. My biggest cash has been $530.

everything has to go perfect for a 1st place finish to happen. i also have a lot of FT's but no wins yet. however they were nice purses for the FT's and i have 3 1k+ finishes thus far.

Numerous final tables for me but no wins in any large MTT's. I have finished 2-4 a few times which really bothers me. I always get there severely shortstacked and can't overcome it.

My biggest cash was recently in a live tourney. Second place out of 65 for over a grand.

I don't play many big MTT's, mostly cash games because I rarely have time. One of my main goals is to focus more on tourney play.

Won $3,000 in a local High Stakes SNG. 12 of us put up $500 each and I was fortunate enough to get some cards.

Easy one for me... I won the $12k WSOP package on PokerStars a few weeks ago. I spent $16 to enter the Saturday satellite and beat approx 300 players. The prize was $615 in tournament dollars or an entry to the SUnday night WSOP event. I used it to enter the Sunday WSOP event and finished in the top 20.

So, PS pays my $10k entry to WSOP and gives me $1k in spending money.. plus another 1k when I get there if I sign a form to only wear their shirts/hats.

my biggest win was in a side bet during a mtt tourney where i won a drunken night with a lady friend of mine for outlasting her....may not be big money but man she is and was a perfect 10

Biggest payday was $4000+ 2nd place 900 person $33 lost heads up all in preflop with almost equal stacks with KK v QQ, Q on turn (1st was $7000+, so don't talk to me about bad beats)

My biggest online Mtt cash was 1k at pokerroom.com on a lucky dollar
then I also won 5200 live in Atlantic City. Best part about them 2 wins was they were back to back weekends last year. Always nice when you win it all at the casino's. Best of luck everyone!!!

my biggest win was on pacific poker, i finished 6th out of 370 and cashed 350, i was second in chips going into the final table, but lost it all in one go to the chip leader, i was relatively new at the time and adimt i was very luck that tourney.

i just won 15 cents on pokerstars in the 10 fpp freeroll lol came about 750 ish out of 7000+

plus 140 on pokerstars in the 20k grntd came 17th out of 2500ish
