What to be on pokeredge?
I am currently a bomb. I know the site is not great and is not legal to use for play, but it certainly has a lot of information on players. So is it good or bad to be a bomb? I assume it's an improvement over my previous redfish, but it does say I might need to reign in my aggresion.

From what I can tell they did not adjust play for 6-max, so don't trust the stats.
I played 6-max, made a good ROI but got a poor PokerEdge rating. Then I did full rings for awhile and they had me as a shark (or something good) but I was winning a lot less. Then I moved back to 6-max, winning a lot again, and my status went back down. |

Just out of curiousity I brought that page up when I was playing a cash game earlier and would put in the names of the people at the table just to see how close their definition of the players would be. Amazingly it was pretty close at times which was very useful when a new player would come to the table.
The thing I didn't like about it was that it uses information from years ago, and my playing style was much different then than it is now. So it's not 100% correct. |

It is pretty accurate when I am overly intoxicated, but that's like 15% of the time. Catch me then and you can win a lot, lol. |

Well, it says I'm a green bomb, which is what Daniel Negreanu (kidpoker) is, which makes sense because I try to mimic his style of play. I think bomb is basically a small ball player who is aggressive post flop. Green is loose, and red is tight. So I think as long as you're not a fish, you're okay.
