| What happens when you lose your bankroll? Well would anyone disagree that you should go for the freerolls, and build your bankroll from freerolls until such time your at least even with what you started with. Full tilt is a classic example of this, this is my dumb ass fault by the way, I built up a bankroll of 50 bucks freerolls, then for some strange reason I decided to deposit a hundred dollars, then proceeded to get drunk and loose it all, but thinking back since it took hard work to build those freeroll winnings, I stayed at very low sngs and just freerolls, no cash games I think that deposit messed me up, well that and the beer. Just food for thought, dont get drunk and play poker unless its freerolls, even my bro told me not to do it cause I would loose, he was right. Sometimes though its fun to grab a six pack and play some online poker. |

| I'd never drink and play online - I think it's too easy to use bad judgment and do something really stupid with just the click of a button. It's a little different with live poker, but still generally not a great idea (unless you're playing with a very small amount of money/don't care if you win or lose) |

| I lost lots playing drunk in my time, I made it up for it a few nights, most memorably looking at pokertracker one morning and realising that I'd brought my full $199 (at the time) bankroll to a nl200 table and quadrupling up in under an hour |

| re: What happens when you lose your bankroll? poker ^^^^ LOL I've done some very similar drunk playing in my time as well. Usually ends bad but I've had a couple mornings where I woke up and said to myself, "oh shit, what happened last night", ran and logged onto my computer only to be completely surprised by the fact that I actually won a decent amount. There have been a few more mornings that were more tragic in nature after those drunk nights. Something like "oh shit, where'd all my money go?" |

| AQ......although the hand would still have been posted in a "why you don't go bust with TPTK" post if you had the set, which is what I figured you had. on another note, should I have raised to like $2.50 instead of $1.90 preflop? would that have gotten you off your bluff? giving people odds to call is the biggest problem I still have.....I always seem to give people the correct odds to call their draws or always overbet when I do have a great hand and scare anyone that might want to call off their hands. I never find the perfect balance... know what I mean? |

I manage NOT to give odds but get called anyway...but only when they seem to hit (I'm sure it's not really that way...just FEELS that way ) I have found that my 25% of pot bets scare off way more people than my 75-100% pot bets.... I think they feel I WANT them to call my 25%, so they don't... so I've been losing big ones and winning small ones... I caught the trend and seem to have reversed it... by betting like I DON'T want a call when I have the nutz... guess it has to do with the level of players I'm coming up against though... so as they say on TV "Don't try this at home kiddies" |

I'm no LAG player, but isn't that what someone that is capable of playing LAG looks for is when a TAG player has a hand preflop. Then TAG catches a piece of the flop and LAG plays into his remotest fears by coming over the top? |
