Noble plays too slow for me. I prefer Absolute poker. I've heard lots of good about Ultimatebet also.

checknraise and WPL

I just wrote a Lengthy post about all the different freerolls I know of, and when I went to submit it, I'd been logged out and after I logged back in it got eaten. So I'll make my (10) posts shorter. check out Checknraise.com and look under private tournaments to see WPL world poker league. They are small and for $12 (u can pay thru paypal) you get a bunch of small tourneys with small prizes but BIG chances of winning. and they aren't so LONG as some. they like to use a program called Ventrilo for chatting.

Noble is such a great site, but just too damn slow. They give a player almost an hour to check, raise, or fold. Stay away from pokerhost! I'm still trying to clear up some bs. I've asked 5 times for the General Managers name and have been given five different names. I've played at more than a few sites, and one of the best is planet poker.. I mean what web site loans you money until you get paid, if you're a regular! If you play there tell Alison from Customer service that Cubswin says she is a fox! She sent me a picture and wow! My top 3... Pacific, Planet, Noble.

Noble is my favorite, but I also like the Prima Poker network sites ( I use Betholdem.com). Noble is a great site, but it is slow to play on. They definitely need to lower the time they allow players to make a decision.

Best poker sites

I have tried my amateur hand at several online poker sites most have their pros and cons. For tournaments it is really hard to beat pokerstars, most user friendly software as well. Only bad thing is the level of competition at pokertsars toughest I have played. Recently been playing prima's tourneys and the structure is very close to the same as pokerstars. Without haveing all the "ringers".I personally hate Pacific Poker's tournament structure not enough chips and the blinds go up way too fast making you have to play every average hand you get aggressively. Pacific's ring games seem to be the easiest to win money at for some reason the flop percentages are thru the roof on every table. I like absolute's sit and go's decent traffic and the level of competition isn't too stiff.
Few random thoughts hope it helps Don

^^^I don't understand the Prima network; they have like 15 different sites under them, all the same structure except minor graphics changes and all their tournaments are the same. Why do they have so many different sites in their network? they're all the same and their not all packed; why not make just Prima Poker one site??I'm sure their all on the same server, too

The simple answer is prima is making money from the "skins" which are the different sites. Just a different way of making some scratch. Probably not a bad way either.

Still doing extensive testing on almost all the new onlike poker rooms i come across. Pokerhost, Absolute Poker, Ultimabet and Bet365 i keep returning to. Pokerchamp, Paddy poker, William Hill are more or less out. Noble i check once in a while and Empire is definatly out. Pacific, Paradise and Ladbrokes are being checked at the moment. Oh and Check'n Raise Poker i am quite unsure off. Not many players and the software goes real slow on my machine.

Seems the bunch i mentioned first are well suited for a beginner like myself.

I agree, noble is a great place but jesus it's slow. I can run and use the bathroom, get a drink, take the dog out, come back and still have 2 mins to decide if I want to call or fold. I like Absolute Poker (absolute) it seems to be fair in my opinion. Ultimatebet is a good one, I played there for about a year. Um,. truepoker I liked until everytime I wanted to join my leagues freeroll it would constantly ask me for my valadation code and when I would request it I would get nothing and would miss the freeroll and have to actually email support.

Cubs I was wondering about PLanet poker, worth a Download?? How many stars?
