What are Good BB/100h Winrates?? What are solid winrates at the various micro/low level no limit full ring holdem tables? Specifically $5 NL and $10 NL(.02/.05), where I've been, $25 NL, where I am, and $50 NL+, where I'm hopefully going. At $5 NL I held 26BB/100h for 9k hands, then moved up to $10 NL where I held 15BB/100h for 14,800 hands, and now I've just moved up to $25 NL where I still have noting for sample size, 1,790 hands, and have a winrate of 9.5BB/100h. I keep hearing things that make me think I'm either amazing, or killing the crap out of the previous 2 levels in a statistically anomolous way, I'm inclined to believe the latter. Feedback is always appreciated by all, but specifically I am interested to hear real life results from people who've done it, or are doing it. Thanks.

First you're calling $5 NL $10 NL so don't know if you skipped $10 NL (.05/.10)? I have the same results from 2NL and 5NL as you have but haven't gone past 10 NL where I haven't run well. Obv. you don't have enough hands at 25NL yet, if that's sustainable then its on the high end. Some 25NL and 50 NL+ players will have to answer how it goes from there and up...

$$/hr should be the main concern. If you only play a couple of tables, then you should be able to have ridiculous BB/100 numbers, but your BB/hr won't be all that great. I'd give estimates, but i haven't played near enough FR to give accurate numbers. Suffice it to say however that it is perfectly easy to run like a god (or terrible) over 20-30k hands, so i wouldn't put too much weight on your numbers just yet. You probably need like 300k+ hands to have a real accurate BB/100 number. Over my best 30k stretch i've made $5000, over my worst i just broke even (ie. made nothing).

re: What are Good BB/100h Winrates?? poker Depends on why you play. I'm currently at the point where any positive BB/100 is a good thing at FR. But also, I'm much better at tournaments so I don't do many ring games. And I think OP might have been saying that he plays 5NL (.02/.05) and was referring to it as "$5 NL and $10 NL" because people can buy in for either 5 or 10 at that level.

Edit, sorry didn't know how to just edit. Sorry, I tried to just edit, but couldn't figure out how. When I say 5NL I mean the .01/.02. When I say 10NL I mean .02/.05, and yes I skipped the .05/.10 and went straight to the .10/.25 for 25NL. I play to make money . But specifically with a mind to climbing the ranks and possibly making a job of it, or at least a pleasent second income. Hope that clarifies all points. Also, this is all on PokerStars. Thanks for the input so far. Oh, and playing between 3 and 6 tables, mainly around 4. Eventually might increase, but first want to solidify my play, then move up.

re: What are Good BB/100h Winrates?? poker Sample sizes are tiny. For instance, when you play 250bb deep at 2nl, a coin flip for stacks affects your win rate by 2.5 BB/100 over 10k hands. 100bb deep at 25nl, a coin flip for stacks affects your win rate by 5 BB/100 over 2k hands. Don't know about 2nl and 5nl as i never played those. 10BB/100 at 25nl is on the very high side. You're most likely on a heater. Leatherass says he maintained about 5BB/100 at all levels while moving up in stakes and he plays better than any of us can dream of.

I also mean to say big bets (2x big blind) when i say BB/100 and would be going with bb/100 to say big blinds. Sorry for confusion, new to forums, thought that was the convention. Also, I thought the convention was to refer to limits by their max buy in? Not looking to say I know anything, just looking to confirm all manner of forum speak so that I can be more clear in the future. Thanks.

re: What are Good BB/100h Winrates?? poker Normally we refer to limits by their max buyin, but at low levels sometimes the max buyin is not 100bb. Like at 0.02/0.05 the max buyin is often 10 dollars, but at 0.05/0.1 the buyin is also 10 dollars. To avoid confusion, we just always stick to 100bb.
