what does it mean to have a "hot" streak like this???

about 2 months ago playing only $5 omaha heads up on full tilt, i had 2 streaks in which i won 8 and 9 games straight. however recently, i have been getting nailed by flushes and am only wining every other game, sometimes even losing 2 out of 3 matches, what does this mean?

Either you're a good player who was running good (getting lucky on top of your good play) earlier and are now seeing an unlucky downswing, or you're a bad player who was running good and now are seeing your true results.

Try posting some hands in the hand analysis forums and see if we can figure out what's happening.

I think winning every other game is still good play as you still make money fast doing that as long as its not just a heads up game, but it is likely these are your true results just be thankfull your still a winning player whilst you wait for your next hot streak.

You're playing heads-up Omaha, major variance can be expected. Just wait until you lose 9 or 10 straight.

That is why i hate omaha, the varience is just too wide for a player like me who has learnt holdem and 5 card draw as basics. Id also agree with ChuckT-show us some hand history.
