also, especially when i play omaha, i talk to myself saying what i have, what can beat me, etc.

lol you guys are all smart asses lol Anyway I usually watch tv or listen to music while I play. Usually listen to music and have the tv on a baseball game or something that doesnt take alot of attention.

Watch TV or listen to a CD. I also tend to play at multiple tables. Not always a good thing, but it keeps me from getting completely bored and irritated when a table is too slow.

I vary depending on my mood or what I am playing. I will listen to music the majority of the time.

ummm i was being serious, when you are playing 4-8 tables you have no time to do anything else.

i personally either listen to music and just have something on the tv to glance at every now and then, or i watch a video. i end up watching a lot of counter-strike movies (best part is i can have them up while im playing and be like "oh damn that was sick, crap lemme bet")

If im playing one table I usually turn on the TV, mostly watching sports as a sitcom or movie is too hard to pay attention to while playing. Two tables I pull up iTunes and put some music on and try to focus mostly on the tables. The music is just kind of background noise.

I voted for other as I do alot while playing poker, during the early/mid stages of a tourney, I'll watch TV and read posts here then I turn on the music during the mid/late stages as to pay more attention to the table.

Lately I've been watching MST3K. It's nice because I don't have to pay attention to the movie and it's still entertaining.

I try not to be too distracted while I play... but I almost always listen to music. Mostly punk-rock, but I will listen to main stream stuff - anything fast and upbeat. Keeps me in good mood and my mind going.

Sometimes I'll listen to music, depends on the game. That's about it though, no TV / music / trying to do work or anything

I watch tv, listen to music , take care of my mom ,surf the web ,post on cc ,smoke out ,etc. etc.
I know if you're serious ,you should do none of this , and would love to do or hear nothing else while playing , but have NEVER even tried it.

Besides eating, drinking, and (yuck) smoking I can only watch TV (or rather have it on). I just cannot concentrate when I listen to music for some reason.
