You get to pick your own cards? AA would give you the best chance.

I don't get it, theres 9 people and only 4 aces?

ya i would pick middle cards thinking most people would pick high...idk like if it was AA, AA, KK, KK, QQ, QQ, JJ, JJ, they cant catch n e thing basically cept keeping that pair, unless they got real lucky for a flush or the jacks hit a J-hi straight...so im thinking maybe 10 9 suited... take out a couple of the JJ outs?

pick lower

actually you would probably be better off picking lower pocket pairs like 8s or 7s cause most others would pick the high pairs so u would more likely hit your hand.

well it depends on when you get to pick plus what if more than two people want to have AA or KK then there is not enough....there would have to be a drawing which brings it back to the luck of the draw the same way cards initially is.....so if it was this way i would try and pick mine last and ge tthe most odds say the first guy picks AA then KK then QQ i would pick 10 9 suited since it has the best chance against big pocket pairs.

Actually i think, not 100% sure, but i think 7,8 suited is the best hand vs big pock pairs (well at least aces) since its highest straight is 8,9,10,j,q. That makes it better than 8,9 since its highest straight is 9,10,j,q,k of which the aces hit broadway. 7,8 is better than 6,7 also since for 6,7 the board can hit 8888X along with many other boards that counterfeit 6,7.

actually I think 76s would be your best bet here assuming everyone is picking high pocket pairs, but then again after the first person picks everyone is going to assume he took AA then the second person would probably pick AA as hoping to split the pot. Why then would anyone pick KK QQ JJ or any other high pairs knowing that they would be dominated by AA, people would start to pick suited connectors 76 89 78 9T.

So if I was picking last I would probably go with 33 assuming that everyone else would be picking mid suited connectors and canceling each others chances out and minimizing my chances of drawing to no outs if someone else was thinking like me and decided to play to a set with a high pocket pair.

Do we get to know what cards are left in the deck or what people have picked before us?

i read all of the hands that others go all in on, I have decided that it depends
on the amount of callers/raisers before me.
1=A,A 2=A,A 3=K,K 4=Kx,Qx 5=7x,8x 6=7,7-5,5 7-9= 5,7 off suit
I think the stakes vary this is free roll and .50 tournaments only
Higher stakes then that, I must see the flop first.
