What beat will you always remember? What is the toughest beat you will always remember? Doesn't have to be a Bad Beat. This was a tough Beat (Not a Bad Beat). couple years ago at the WSOP Main. Day 2 I am on the button with K,8 suited. It is folded around to me and I have a tight player in the BB. I try to steal with a 4X BB bet and both blinds call. Flop comes K,8,8 I flop a Boat. SB bets, BB raises (I'm thinking they both have a King or maybe the SB has the other 8) So I move allin. Both call. SB turns over 7,8 BB turns over K,K I'm drawing dead and out.

Sitting at a 4/8 limit table here in Tulsa, about 9 months ago or so. I'm the BB get Q3os. a few limpers in the hand. Flop comes QQx, I bet out, raised by one, others fall out back to me I reraise, he caps it. I don't remember what the turn card was but it came around being capped again. River card came a brick, I checked he bet I just called. He flips over a QKos. It had to be the worse hand live for me really. Not a bad beat just bad timing.

My toughest beat was not only because of how dominated he was, but because of the tournament and place in the tourney that I was in. This was also the only time that I came THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS close to chucking my mouse across the room in disgust....I still have a strong dislike for Lee Jones over at PokerStars because of this one. Playing in the PS $11 WSOP Quadruple Shootout last year, and I managed to make it to HU at my 3rd table (winner goes to final table). Chip totals were villian at about 4600, hero (me, that is) at about 4400. Caught A-5 in BB - SB called, I raised to 4x BB (standard raise); a call. Flop comes A-9-5 rainbow - beautiful. I come out firing a pot size bet, opponent comes over the top immediately for all his chips. I knew he didn't make trips - any decent hand he would have raised (notes indicated this); and I just knew that this was one of those "Please fold to my big bet even though I have nothing" bets. I called - he flips A-3 unsuited! I rarely get excited or pissed off playing poker on the computer, but I was getting stoked about making it to a final table for a chance at the WSOP (8800 to 200, c'mon, who loses this lead!) - but I forgot that I could actually lose this hand.....until I saw a 2, then a 4 come out to give the villian his straight and knock me out.

re: What beat will you always remember? poker i was playing in high stakes room. i am in the BB and get dealt 86 of hearts. action checks around to me and i check as well .flop caomes 866. im thinking hell yeah. this is a limit game so i bet ,two other players fold and the SB raises me.of course i raise and he reraises and i cap it. on the turn comes a 10. action repeats as it did be4 on the river an ace. to make a long story short the SB had pp10's. I lost like 600 on that hand.

I was playng a final table of a tourney. Not a big one, little prize, but i spent 3 hours. I had A2 suited hearts, big blind. No one raised and i saw the flop : 7 J !0 hearts. Someone bets and i called: another hearts comes down (what a happiness!). Then the same person bets, everibody folds an i raised. He saw my raise. Now the bord is 7 J 10 3 hearts, the river was a diamond one. He bets a large stake: bluffing i think, and i went all-in. He called and i already think: now i would be the chip leader . What a bad surprise: chips went in his direction when we showdown. He has 8 9 hearts, a straight flush at the flop! Ok, it was a little tourney, but was the same a bad, bad beat!

My worst beat was a $5 buy-in MTT with around 200 odd entries. I made it to last table with top 9 being paid and smiled to myself as i saw KK drop in my sb. Two callers so I raised 5 X bb. Both called. Flop came over KQ2 rainbow. 1st player goes all-in so I put him on 2 pair, other player folds. He has only 100 chips more than me so I am wetting myself at a good pay-out (9th place was around 50 bucks I think). I obviously call, he turns over QQ I show my KK....turn card A and youv'e guessed it RIVER was Q !!!! I of course congratulated him as I went out on the bubble. MackemMan

re: What beat will you always remember? poker 12K gaurenteed final table about 6 or 8 months ago...I had 75,000ish in chips, leader had just over 100K, everyone else was in the 25K range. I was having a bad run at the time and REALLY wanted 1st place (over 3k). Okay, the third or fourh hand in I'm dealt 5-5 in middle position, with a big stack, I raise 4x (I think) the BB, everyone except the chip leader folds. Flop comes 5-3-J rainbow. Sweet right? I overbet it, he raises, I hesitate then go all-in, he calls and turns over 3-3. I remember the K of clubs on the turn and the river was, of course, the last 3. And just like that I'm done. I was tilted for a month or so after.

I was playing for the 2k Jackpot in the Titan jackpot SNG. I was concerned with playing too tight with 2K on the line if I won. The first hand I get is JA unsuited. I raise 5X the BB and get one caller. The flop comes J J 10 rainbow. I'm thinking this is very good, trips with top kicker...don't be too passive but lets get some money out of this. I put out a half pot sized but and am shocked to see a raise to the full pot amount. I re-raise again and the OP pushes all in. My last thoughts...I almost have to call this..I sure hope he doesn't have J 10....my raise should've flushed that hand out. And the OP turns over J 10. My shot at 2k went down the toilet.

I dont really remember that many bad beats. Ive had sets cracked lots of times by runner-runner stuff. The only one that sticks to mind was in the late stages of a pokerstars tournament a few months back, I called a PF raise with pocket 10's, flopped top set and check raise all-in. Mr donk was on a steal and needed running hearts to beat me, and that was all she wrote. The pot was 1.2M if i remember correctly.
