Well I did it, I made it in.

So I do out get a 6 pack of bud and figure what the hell I will try for the pokerstars 1 million dollar turbo take down, well to make a long story short, I freakin made it into it, its a 5000 point buy in, I used 24 points, it was a rebuy and some guy starting talking smack and just got me livid.

From 6000 chips after a double up, I made it to the final table, so im sitting there worried im going to run out of beer before the game is over and poof 2 idiots knock each other out and im in. I hope like hell I can do something with this ticket, I emailed pokerstars and ask them if I could have the 5000 points they said no, but they did say if I get another seat I could have the 5000 points, quite frankley the more I play poker the more I realize I suck, so maybe I can turn this into something, it pay 4000 places, 1st being $100,000, I sure could use it, wish me luck.

On a side note, I have noticed something about online play besides the fact I suck, is that when someone starts talking smack it improves my game, this guy put down my semi pro brother who is training me and I lost it, I was not going to rebuy, but because of his big mouth I said ok now im pissed and im going to really play, stupid jerk off came in 178th, I came in first, go figure. Classic example of why I love playing CC players, you all are good and for the most part very respectable, I made the last 2 final tables on CC game in carbon poker. This is the best card site on the internet today, I hope to see a $1000 like titan free roll for Americans, but Im very happy with the way things are going on this site, cheers from madness.

Don't let some jerk affect ANY decision you make at the table, even if it's whether you rebuy or not. If you find yourself steaming for whatever reason over idiotic comments, consider turning the chat off.

I gotta agree though that losing your cool while playing cannot be a winning strategy most of the time...unless by losing your cool you tend to focus more intently on the gameplay.

I have noticed that if someone at the table gets under my skin a little I do focus more intently and as long as my intent is not to "get that guy" no matter what, but instead to take full advantage of opportunities, and if I just happen to kill the SOB, well, cool.

How many people will be entered? If they pay down to 4000 it must be some huge number. If you play straight through it must take many hours to weed out the field.
