it takes time, when i first started playing online, i played the FT FR everyday for 6 months, then finally won it, back then it was only 900 players and paid 4 places, took 6 1/2 hours to win it and got $ 8. back then in 2004,or maybe it was 2005,, now there 2700 players i think, after i won it never played it again, did what i wanted to do by winning it, so no need to play it again,, 7 days a week for 6 months is a lot of games,,lol,, gl you`ll get there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,buck

My advice would be to play nice and tight at the start of a freeroll and look for the players who are playing crazy (plenty of these early in a freeroll). Wait for a decent hand and hope they carry on playing like you have observed. Another point is to look for players who are sitting out.. when the blinds are of a reasonable size stealing blinds from these players is a nice bonus. You'll get there, keep at it and good luck!

re: well been playing 2months poker You might try the play money route. Get yourself 500,000 play money and enter the 40 freeroll each day. Lot easier to do than the freerolls there. I won $2.00 the second one I entered. Building up my playroll for my third this week.

You have to run so well to win one of those things that it takes quite some time. Looking at it in a different perspective... If you had deposited when you intially signed up, even just $10, then you could have used that money to play 2NL ring games or $1 SNG's and start to build a BR from that, itd be much faster than trying to cash in a FR, and you would make more money than cashing in a FR over a shorter time period. Hope you see my logic.

I guess it depends on your reasons for playing. If you are just a recreational player then its fine to play freerolls but if you are actually serious about learning, moving up and ultimately making money, then you should probably make a deposit and go from there.
