WARNING TO ALL U.B players!!

Guys/Gals If you all got money on Ultimate Bet and you live In the United States you better not cash out!!

I cashed out twice last month once for $750 and $1500 and both I took both of my checks to the bank and BOTH CHECKS came back FRAUDULENT!!!!
Now I'm under a POLICE investigation and could go to jail for being in possession of having a forged or fraudulent item and trying to cash them.
The cops went through my e-mails and I had to show them the e-mail(s) U.B sent me when i cashed out (Thank god I saved them) and they said might help clear me of being in on it with them or some kind of BS like that ,But I'm still not in the clear with them.

Now I'm out $2250.00 and what does Ultimatebet do?????
IGNORE ME!!!
As much as I love Internet poker I'm done with it.

UltimateBetUltimateBet are one of the older rooms on the internet with a great range of games to play and a 111% bonus using the bonus code CARDSCHAT.

Absolute PokerAbsolute Poker offers online poker games to US players with a $500 sign up bonus.

Ultimatebet just merged with Absolute, now they are a major player, i.e., the opposite of belly up.

AG -- I know you play on Ultimatebet and you just cashed out a bunch of your roll. You didn't have a problem did you? Something smells fishy here. I don't believe it.

Cashed a bunch of checks recently from Absolute Poker and Ultimatebet. No problems yet. Trust me this will be the first place I post any issues...

I've done business with Ultimatebet on several occasions. I live in the US and have never had a bit of trouble putting money in or taking it out. The chances of Ultimatebet issuing you a bad or fradulent check are zip!

I'm not going to question Ultimatebet's incompetence, but the OP is clearly nonsense.

I'm curious about information on Absolute and Ultimatebet merging, is that a done deal or are they still discussing it. I can't find any reference to it on either web site, and just a few hits online discussing a possible merger. I going to open an account over at Ultimatebet, but I guess I'll and see how this plays out.

Reading Aces post scares me a bit...I cashed out a little more than $700 in late February and have yet to receive the check. At one point they put a stop payment on the check because I had not received it after 6 weeks, but even after this, I have yet to receive it.

I have friend who cashes out on a regular basis on Full Tilt, and he receives his checks around 1-2 weeks, so I'm not sure why Ultimatebet takes so long. Like Aces, I've been emailing Ultimatebet on a regular basis asking them where my money is, and they've been feeding me the same bs over and over again.....I guess I should be thankful that they at least email me back. Ultimatebet is a great site to play on, but their cashouts suck. That's the main reason why I will NEVER play on Ultimatebet again.

A day after I posted my first reply to this thread, I finally received my $600 check from Ultimatebet. It only took about 10 weeks to get. I will be cashing the check today, so I will let you know if I have any problems with the bank and if they will cash my check or not. Stay tuned...

Did the check come from Germany and payable through Citibank New York State???

All that my bank would do when i first tried to cash it was put a hold on it for 15 business days.

After the 15th business day they ran the routing # and the check came from a bank in the Bronx (NY) ,After several attempts to contact someone at that bank to verify if it was good or not they finally got a hold of someone at the bank that said the check was fraudulent.

It's been a week and I've still not heard back from the police ,I don't know if that's a good sign or not.

But all U.B said they would do was once I get the check back (Still waiting on it and out an extra $25.00) was they would credit my account only after the bank sent them back the fraudulent check.

I hope everything goes A-OK for ya and that you get your check cashed!
