A-A vs A-A at UB.....

Un-Belivable=UB!!!!!! I was just in a UB donk fest just for sumpin' ta do (cuz I've already won a spot in Saturdays $1000 FR) and I get a pair of As--shove all in (it was early innna game-2nd hand) and get called by, guess what? ANOTHER pair of aces!! So I just figured LOL! Split! But don't he catch an A high flush w/4 suited to his one of his As? And that wasn't the 1st time thats happened! The same thing happened to me once before a couple of months ago! Man! Un-Believable!

Wow.. that sucks! I've gone head to head with someone, where we both had Pocket A's as well.. but we ended up splitting the pot.

Cash game i am dealt AA, other guy dealt AA, third guy dealt 99. Guess who took the sizable pot.

the guy with 99 ? or the other guy with AA did a 4 card flush

It happened to me before. I posted about how it spooked me for years. Always having that nagging feeling that you can lose with aces to aces.

Ooooh and how bad does it hurt watching that flush land on the board. When it happened to me it felt like slow motion. Oh and the sinking, topsy-turvy feeling in the pit of your gut. Makes you feel like you'll pass out or vomit and maybe both. Just pray someone comes to flip you over.

I had this too. We both had ace ace suited and all-in. Three diamonds hit the board to give me top hand. When I lose with pocket aces it normally to some one who catchs a flush or straight. This is poker.

Unfortunately (when you're on the losing end - fortunately on the winning end ), that's all part of Holdem. If it weren't, it would just be 2 card poker - but then everybody would be pissed when their AK loses to a 22.

It ain't over until the river. When you're watching poker on TV and they show you that someone is a 99% to 1% favorite, that means over the long term (to be statistically accurate, we're talking MILLIONS of hands), the guy at 99% will win 99 out of 100 hands and the guy who has the 1% will win 1 out of 100 hands. The fact that somone won only makes it that 1% of the time it happens.

I'm certainly sorry to hear about that hand, just have to write it off as one of those 1 out of a hundred times - Of course, it doesn't make it any less painful

I see a lot of doinks at fulltilt too.....Usually I love them and make my money off them....Just sometimes when they get lucky it gets me going....lol

Same thing happened to me except we both called with pocket K's, an nope it wasn't me that won the hand, I didn't stop steaming for 2 days LOL

sure it sucks but it happens. of course you would hope for a split but it could have gone your way just as easily which I'm sure was really what you were hoping for

No you don't just hope for a split. You see the exact same hand but opposite suits and expect to split. That's the cruelty of it, that bit of false relief when you see your opponent's hole cards pre-flop.

that's sick, it can happen in anysite, but i cant play in ultimatebet after that "super-accounts" for the managers of ub story...
