Viva Laughlin!

Hey,
I just got back from a fun-filled weekend in Laughlin, NV with the wife and kids. One of the great things was that the kids stayed with Grandma and Grandpa; so the wife and I could have some fun at the casinos.
I had a great time playing a lot of $2-$6 spread limit HE at the Riverside Casino, where we stayed. The games were pretty soft, so I could pretty much play ABC poker. I didn't have to vary my game much because most of the tourists don't pay attention to how often you enter a pot. They were often willing to pay off my big hands, and would fold on occasion to a bluff here and there. Though I also took a few bad beats, but then again delivered my share as well.
I also played in a small 3-table NL HE tourney at my in-laws retirement RV park. It was a small buy-in with loose play, but it was fun. And I managed to finish ITM with a 3rd place.
So for poker I ended up with an extra $140 for the 3-day weekend, and an extra $150 from video poker.
Unfortunately my wife cancelled out most of my winnings, though we still came back a little ahead of what we brought down. So coming back with our money intact, enjoying some great weather, and a little dip in the pool; made for a great time.
I'm looking forward to going back again soon!
