A Very Bad Weekend

I have been getting wiped out this weekend on Absolute Poker.

I have lost over $100 so far. I don't know what it is. I have been getting monsters beaten by bigger monsters. Just had 2 hands that really defined this weekend.

Had a nut str8 and after all the chips were in the middle, he backed into a full house. Then I had I had a Full House, and someone had Quads.

I spent all week building a bankroll just to have it wiped out in one weekend. I am so upset. I'll have two pair on flop and the board will pair and counterfeit me. I have so many bad beats this weekend, it has to be a record. It is for me...a $100 record (playing .05/.10 & .10/.25).

Is it just the weekends? During the past week, I was playing GREAT and never left a table without a profit. Now, everytime I read the hand and make a good read, I get killed by the board.

Anway - just really upset. All that work during the week wasted and I can't find a leak...I'm making the right reads most of the time. Now all the time, but most of the time, my money has been getting in w/ the best hand. ARGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a term for days like that...it's call Second Nut Sunday (or Saturday). All day long you have the second nuts. It's very disturbing. And then Monday through Friday comes and you win again.

I know it won't help your pain right now, but you will bounce back.

Sitting a .10/.25 table now. Sat down w/ 10 and moved up to 30. Then a guy w/ 50 went all in and I called.

I had AA - he had KK. He picked up a K on the turn, but I picked up a flush on the river (4 diamonds on the board).

Now I'm almost back up to my original load amount. Guess I can start working on profit again.

Thanks for the words. Funny how soon things can turn around. I was down to my last $13 from a $75 load (and I was up to $115 before my bad weekend).

The same thing occurred to me yesterday at Poker Stars. VERY DISTURBING.
