Variance or something else?

I just finished a longish day of 4 tabling Full Tilt, and in the end, I barely eked out a small win. Here's the thing, I don't know if it's just because of variance, or if I have to change something. I'm playing a new style for me, very straightforward, and pretty much letting go of any flop I miss. As a result, my $ on non-showdown hands is dropping through the floor and I'm not used to that. This leads me to think that's why I'm barely winning, non-showdown losses.

However the counter argument is the Sklansky-Buck graph for my day's play, which indicates that I'm doing quite well, just got sucked out on I believe. I'm starting to wonder if I'm reading the SB graph incorrectly. Should my winnings (green line) approach my SB (red line) over time? Or is it showdown winnings (blue line) that should approach SB as #hands -> inf.?
