Get a load of this one, I love the free rolls and have not really lost lately been kind of staying away from the cash games, well today should have been the day.

Play the bodog freerolls and its always been a dollar here or there, well today I was chip leader, the cards came the donks called and had a lead the whole game, 2717 players in all, im in first and or second command the whole game, less than 200 players to go, I know Im making the final table, and guess what BAM the cable connection goes out, cant explain in words when your that close and you loose your connection, going nuts trying to figure out what went wrong calling tech support etc.., well the whole area went out been over 3 hours, by the time now its game over and it placed me in 25th position, guess we could not say this is a bad beat but its something, imagine if I placed 25th " 3.50 cents" what I could have Maybe done had I been able to stay in the game, hence first place pays 120 bucks. Not complaining just sharing some frustration, seeing as alot people have bad beats, I think I should at least win the bad beat of the day award for today.

That always sucks. I had my internet go down once when I was chip leader, by the time it came back up (2 days later) I was knocked out lol. I'd say far far away since I didn't see any money.

Good to see im not the only one that happened too, we rarely go out on connections, so it was a jump up and down fit on dammit, 2 more hours, just 2 more hours I would have had it, 3 tops hopefully.

the one and only time my internet connection has been lost while playing poker happened when i got dealt K-J clubs in a cash game.
Flop comes down with the A & 10 of clubs, of course i perked up a bit at this point, turn card brings me the Q clubs for my first and only royal flush!!!!

Obviously all at the table found it highly ammusing.

I got to the last 5 of a $10 MTT at Noble 18mths or so ago - was disconnected and unable to get on for the last hour of the game apart from 2 hands, 1st one table opened up and i saw AA so i quickly went all-in and connection dropped. Tried like mad to get back on, saw one more hand - A 10 and again went all-in. Next time i got on, tourney had finished - i'd come 2nd for over $600!

1 Sunday awhile back when I qualified for UB's $1000 TEC my frickin cable company (Brighthouse) shitheads decided to do some maintenance for 2 hours 3 hands into the tourny.........need I say more.
