Turning Pro: Countdown to Vegas!

Ive completed the first leg of the poker challenge! Ive turned 0 into $2300, and ive finally recieve all of my funds. I leave Mon. 12th for Vegas. Ill be there for at least 30 days playing tournaments. Needless to say im very excited, optimistic, and confident that i will complete this challenge.

Sharkscope has me ranked #14 for low limit Heads up hold em play! Keep in mind these rankings are based on a 12 month average, ive only been playing on full tilt for 5, so my profit for 5 months was enough to compete with these guys with 12 months under their belt. I have no doubt that had i played for 12 months, my ranking would easily be in the top 5 in not #1!

Poker prophecy has my win percentage at 57% last time i checked, which was 2% higher than the highest player they had tracked on Party poker! They consider anything over 40% a pro player.

Lastly to all the people who sent me emails of support, thank you! You helped me to keep my focus on the task at hand!

What stakes do you plan on playing there?
Won't it be tough making a living solely on a $2300 bankroll? That seems so small for a full time pro (no offense).

I have 2 buddies that live in Vegas, so ill be staying with 1 of them. So my bankroll is just for playing and eating and the small things. Ill start out with $40 tourneys, i played one last time i was there, it had 105 entries, i won 1800 first place. So if I focus the first couple of tourneys i dont doubt i will cash. As my bankroll increases, ill up the entry amounts accordingly.

I love that Lincoln too, i plan on buying one after my first nice win there.
