Turbo Freerolls Any turbo freerolls that have a lot people registered is just ruined at the final table. Dont you think? You play really well to get to the final table but when you get there the blinds and ante are so high that they mean almost 1/3 of the average stack at the table. So all the players start going all in and it becomes a LUCKY game. If you go all in and people got nothing then you get all the chips, but then if some1 has good cards then you lose. But if you fold you lose a bi part of your stack, and folding 2 or 3 times you will be slow stack and get eliminated eventually. I hate turbo tournaments!

Turbo obviously speeds things up and you try adjusting your play accordingly. A single table turbo can take less than 30 minutes and 30-odd hands while a reg limit table can run 110-150 hands and well over an hour. I think you have to play hands more aggressively in a turbo since you will have fewer to play overall. Luck? Well there's always some luck

re: Turbo Freerolls poker turbos are obv luck contests, but that is the point most people that play these just want to have fun i used to hate them to death, but lately (since there are very few deepstack tourneys and i play mostly cash), i mix them in for fun

you cant play a tight game, you have to loosen up and take alot more chances because of that, it obv turns into the luckier people survive longer that doesnt mean that it doesnt take skill, only that when it gets down to 100 people and they are all of equal skill, the luckiest ones are the ones that finish the highest |

Yea turbos are can get pretty crazy sometimes. I was palying the 10c at pokerstars and the second hour it was push or fold and I built a huge stack not pushing with medeocker hands. but at the funal table there was some play left. I think that it deponds how fast the play is before the final table. if it is quick in the middle stages then you can have a little play but it all deponds

re: Turbo Freerolls poker Six words: What - do - you - want - for - nothing?!? Regarding turbos in general, if you don't like them you don't have to play them. Just make sure you're using the proper metrics to compare them to other games. If you're complaining that they're "all luck", "no skill", blah blah blah, you're missing the point. $/hr is where it's at.
