True History of NL Hold'em
I've been playing this "compelling" game for a few years now... I refrain from using the term addictive...don't want to give poker a bad image.. like crack or heroin
I believe it's the constantly changing "dynamics and fluidity" that draws me to the table ...the blinds go up.. the button goes around ...the players go in and out ...the stacks go up and down the players act and react. Does anyone know where this game originated and by whom ?. I've heard England, Texas (USA), Canada, etc. I even heard one guy proclaim Doyle Brunson invented it ! Any history buffs out there that could give us newbies a little history lesson ? Thanks and Roll Tide |
