They do run this freeroll from time to time, at different times. In my opinion it is a testing tool for big fields, last month they had one with 11.000max, next day it was 12.000max, as was yesterday. They are just testing their software this way, as their bigger buyin tourneyfields are limited in numbers... (dimer is 3700max)

re: Tracking Down the $1,000 Freeroll on Full Tilt poker I've also been wondering about how often this tourney occurs....but I'm guessing like once a month. Last time I played I was really close to making the money I didn't play for long either cause there's a lot of donks and all ins.

I've seen them a few times on Friday mornings with a start time of 11:43 am est. I believe they pop up around 40 minutes before the start time to be able to register.Unlike their 2700 people $100 freerolls which are scheduled at 40 past the hour but also register 40 minutes early

I was lucky enought to run into this tournament. I finished 79th! and made myself 2 dollars. As to when it shows up...I really can't say. If you find out, be sure to let me know. All in with (above) the one I played on wasn't on a Friday. Are they more than once a week?
