| 1%. That's what I have sticky to lately. Plus if I play 1% of my BR the donkey calls I get don't hurt so bad. If I'm in a $50 BI with $100 BR and my aces get called by 7 4o and loose I go insane. But same hand in a $1 Buy in, sux but don't hurt so bad. |

Pretty good write up sindri. Thanks. Looks like I'm right in the range of the SNG "unprotected", so maybe playing a little over my head. I have been messing around in the $20 to $30 buy in SNG's. Maybe not enough hands to really get a feel, but I'm not seeing a huge difference in skill level between the two. I'll admit my own skill level may make it hard for me to be an accurate judge, though. For example, I scoped two guys at my table in $30 buy in the other day, and they each had a little fish bowl icon next to there names with a fish jumping in and out! (each were in the red over $2k). I had to laugh at the fish bowl. I had a little poker poetry in that game too. I was the big chip leader at the time, and I opened with 4's. Hit a set on the flop, and a pretty good size stack shoved on the turn with a completely vanilla board. I called and he turns over AA. Felt good until he hit's his A on the river (could have been Greenstein, I don't know). I used much profanity, and my stack took a big hit. Came back strong, though, and who do I go HU with? Yes, Mr. A on the river, and I DESTROYED him for a nice win. |
