Took 2nd at Full tilt....
Played in 40$ freeroll today and my god 3 1/2 hours for 5 bucks? I know it's about the challenge, but surviving a 900 person field to go heads up and come out with 2nd place and 3 dollars? It will almost drive you crazy. Had the chip lead for most of time after the final break but ended up having 2nd chip stack when heads up started. I had A3 clubs, my opponent raised to put me all in. Thought I was the dog but called since I did have an Ace and was happy to see him turn over QJ offsuit. Of course he had to catch the Q on the river.......so I'll just be happy that now I have some money at a site where I previously had none. Somewhat of a moral victory. Wait a minute we played for 5 hours, that makes it even worse to come out 2nd.

Don't think of the money just think of how you played. Better then 899 others. I use freerolls to better my game. Even with a bunch of fih you get a lot of good solid players near the end.
I like freerolls at Ultimatebet. Once you play for an hour or two most of the crap players are gone. Also took out a few good players on their way out. I have come in 1st (twice), 6th, 17th, and 22nd out of 2500 before. And usually finish in the money (top 200). Its fun ![]() |
