More subtle collusion from the boys on poker after dark. Tom dwan calls out Phil Ivey's tell of looking away from the table when he has nothing. Dwan then says "I think it would of been good before "those" started, and he looks down at the flop.. Then Phil Ivey says that's my big boy, which refers to eli elezra having the best hand - Eli Elezra then says "i can recognise that, and bets out..||Use your imagination|| - Also look at howard lederer's face when eli elezra says I can recognise that.

Maybe I don't play enough live poker, but I think people are seeing things that aren't there.

Dwan and Ivey start out talking about playing online, then the discussion on the flop is about their prop bets. They have money riding on specific cards coming on the flop b/c playing $200/$400 is obv boring without having something extra riding on the game.

Anyone know what season / episode number this was, BTW? Normally PAD bores me to death but I've liked their cash game sessions and I've never seen this one...

They don't show PAD here in Michigan I don't think. I've never once seen it on. It's probably from this season though.

To think Ivey and Eli have to collude is ridiculous...Quite possibly up there in dumb things that ive heard here on CC...

it could be about the cup size of the waitress or if the camera man is a moron, between those two all bets and propbets are in full effect.

lol, yeah, but i think they were speaking about prop bets, i watched that entire week and they were playing some pretty sick prop bets all week long, and that was most of the chat during the airtime

If you watch the full episode you will notice Phil ivey and Eli Elezra are exchanging information by looking away from the table when they have nothing.

Notice when tom dwan is speaking to ivey, he looks away from the table at the end.. He is pretending to be like Ivey like 10 minutes before this hand.

Eli Elezra says "you know him well... you dont chat much durrrr do you?" haha so obvious...
Tom dwan is just letting them know he knows what is going on, by saying "sorry to call you out on camera, people are gonna learn the tricks".

then phil ivey is like aww shit ive been busted. I thought i was better than tom dwan.

see how he leans back and puts his knuckle to his nose... and then makes a noise like he is sniffing coke... it means "ego big"..... then he cuts off eli elezra by saying "I cant help my self sometimes" .. which like has to do with coke, but also, i cant help my self in hands so i look away from the table...

eli elezra notices that, and then the rest is self explanatory.

Boy, that is quite a vivid imagination you have if that is what you got out of this clip! Maybe your imagination has been enhanced by artificial means? Are you from the 60's hippie era having flashbacks from your LSD experiences?

Or maybe I have no imagination at all, because I surely do not see any of what you are seeing in this clip.

Erm... no. Just no. That's at the end of their conversation about their online matches, what Dwan is "calling him out on" is Ivey's responses - that he'll either say he's been losing online or that he doesn't keep track of those kind of things and that he won't admit it when he's winning.

It might be difficult to comprehend if you don't keep up with what these players do, but there's like 0% chance they're colluding or sharing tells or anything.
