I just talked to the support and they told me no decision was made on their part yet. Would I be wise to pull my money out of there?

No, don't make any hasty decisions yet. Let them formally announce it and give you a timeline. In theory all sites should still be playable/accessable for 270 days but just wait and see.

Nobody is going to steal your money, trust me on that.

So, i wonder if there will be any poker sites left with the jewels to allow the american player access to play poker? It is looking like every site is gonna cave in to the bush administration. Sad very sad.

at pokerstars, they use western union money transfer. As western union is not a bank, american players can still wire transfer the funds to the sites that support western union money transfers.
When I use Western Union, my funds are transfered to whom I believe is a third party poker with no mention of the site whatsoever, I've been using it for the past 6mos with no problems, so therefore if your site has a wire transfer option, then I suggest you use it if you can.
BTW, I haven't gotten around to reading any of the articles yet, so I don't know if wire tranfer is mentioned.
Just something to think about for my American friends.

The above is a cut and paste from another thread.

Hmmmm, I wonder how they will get hold of a lot of players there. If you look under thier avatars it says where they are from . I've seen some very strange places there.
I, for one, am from the Isle de Lesbos. Definatly not the US.

Due to the recent passing of the Unlawful Gambling Enforcement Act by the United States Senate on September 30, 2006, and its imminent enactment as federal law, we will no longer allow real money gaming activities from United States residents.

We regret to inform you that, consequently, we are closing your gaming account at Titan Poker.

Your balance is available to you. You may access your account and request the withdrawal of such balance, subject to any conditions that might apply, including bonuses received.

We appreciate your patronage, and apologize for any inconvenience caused. We hope to be able to offer to you our services again in the future.

And are you sure it was horses mouth and not a donkeys? In my opinion, with the recent happenings over there at titan, straight from the ass's mouth seems more approriate.
