Thinking of going from PS to Full Tilt Since it's cheaper to play on Full Tilt with rakeback (I think), is there any reason for me to stay on PokerStars? Why do some of you guys choose PS over FT?

re: Thinking of going from PS to Full Tilt poker i have both and personally i don't like the cartoony graphics and full tilt just seems to run at least here really jerky, the fold call raise buttons blink twice everytime before i can actually use any of them. i have had full tilt just quit all of it's own accord, log back in and had AA or QQ just sitting there folded. i am more of a freeroller though and haven't deposited yet so i don't know about their bonuses.

I have an account with both. However I rarely use PS. It does have the best multi table tournaments around though. Some of the prize pools on there are unreal. If you like MTT's with a big field, then Poker Stars is the place to go.

re: Thinking of going from PS to Full Tilt poker I think PS is better for tournaments and SNG play. Full Tilt players are much more wild, which I think is a direct result of the blinds only lasting on average 6 minutes. It leads to wild ridiculous play, while at PS and UB, you can play at 10 minute blinds which is much more reasonable in my opinion. But like someone already said, why not play at both?

Yeh, if you're a US citizen and into online poker then it's a no-brainer to join both FTP AND PS. You only have a few others; Ultimate (Tight City) Bet; Absolute (Dodgy) Poker; Bodog (Shmodog) and the Microgaming (Scandinavians-Are-Us) network. Oh and the power-house that is Cake Poker. I just joined FTP today (I'm from the UK and only just learnt they accept Maestro) but I find their SnG structure to be excellent. Even though they are only 6 minute levels, the chip increase is actually quite small incrementally; which means you really don't have to play it like it's a turbo. I have to say, I had great fun trying out the $5 SnGs today - although I could have done without it going down when I was chip-leader with 4 players left!! And Poker Stars? Well, the tourny choice is great and the software is slick and has nice features but I've personally just not done very well there :-(
