Things NOT to say in a chat box...

Just finished up a four-player HU shootout, and some educational examples of things never to say in a chat box came up:

During the first round:

Villain who won the other round one game (Observer): i have less than 30 min
Villain (Observer): huryyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Villain (Observer): OHHH COME ON; U TWO SLOW NAPPLES
Villain (Observer): come on hurry

In my defence, my first round opponent was a major nit - wouldn't put anything in the pot without a hand. Finally finished her off after about 15 minutes and we can sit down to round two:

OzExorcist: sorry, nits take a while to beat :P
Villain: IT IS OK; BUT LETS HURRY; IHAVE LESS THAN 15 MIN

Does anyone else think that translates directly to "In exactly 13 minutes, I'm gonna be on mega-tilt?". Because that's exactly what happened

So, in summary:

If you're short on time don't start a game. Especially not one that only pays first place. And if you can't resist the temptation, at least for the love of gawd don't tell your opponent!

You should've asked him what his favorite tv show was, when he goes to work, goes to bed and around what time his dinner is usually ready.

Then, of course, go and find him and use your time bank to the max

yeah ive played in the shoot outs lol and one time i was on the last table till next round,,, its funny all the people who have won are there pestering you to hurry up,,,, and at that time i was on the table with someone i knew we slow played,, yeah kinda infantile but if im told im stupid or chicks dont belong (we were both girls) i can prolong,,,,,
And at the other times i have waited for ages in shoot outs,, but yes if im told to hurry and the person is genuinely rude,,, i can take my time in thinking, nothing makes it worse when u have a big decision and people are hurrying you off the table.
Patience is a virtue people!!

I say if you don't like the format of a MTT/SnG don't join in the first place. He couldn't have expected to be finished within 30 minutes so why play? Congratz on the win though

I have had this happen on many occasions. They will raise like 10 x the BB and be like "sry I have to go to work" so I just let them plasy aggressively and call my TPTK with MPSK(Middle pair shitty kicker) lolol

too funny.

I also think it is a bad decision to criticize your opponents for bad play. It only makes them tighten up.
