Things that distract you when playing poker

It seems to be happening to everyone.

Deep in a tourney or session something distracts you from playing.

It may be the girlfriend wanting something, a phone call, the TV, the cat/dog,neighbor or the

internet or something completely different ?

My husband knows generally not to bother me when I'm involved in a tournament, but we once got into a major yelling, cursing, throwing things fight just after I'd started an SNG -- but I kept playing (I'm a good multitasker ) and went on to win the thing, LOL.

This forum and others, friends, and watching movies/TV shows on the Internet are generally my distractions. Although I only play 2 tables max at a time, so it isn't that bad.

Worst thing ever is when my connection gets sporadic. Surefire way to wind up tilting, worse than 10 cracked aces in a row.

Cake is always a distraction, even in live tourneys.

my problem usually is doning other tasks besides just many tables- myspace is a bad one- always looking for new friends for my band- and which usually leads to my computer freezin up and my long awaited AA getting folded on me

Wife is probably the worst then I would say outside people with phone calls prmarillary friends asking random stuff just enough for me to push on t=something that goes wrong. I also think it is eay to blame it on somesomething as a coinencedence when it happens and seems like thay was the problem. I tprobably would have happened anyway.

the bigest one for me is trying to talk on the phone while playing a game..all the times that I recall getting a phone call while playing I somehow get crushed...I think its a curse...I hate phones..that and kids yelling at me while im playing...need some duct tape for them.
