| Thanks for the help Cardschat Just like to thank everyone for helping my game enough to come in 2nd in a 2.20 180 person sitn'go, without the help of everyone here I would never had dreamed of coming in that high a position. This was the big hand that pretty much insured 2nd and not 1st for me, as i feel i could have beaten the winner. I realized i played it poorly, but at least i can say that was one of my only mistakes. the pot on the flop was 16100 you bet 10000 giving him the wrong price to draw to the flush as you need about 4:1 to make a call correct his call was a mistake. you checked the Turn and then he semi bluff bet 35000 questionable play on his part but a great result for you. Don't forget he only has 7 clean outs not 9 as a paired board will give you a full house beating his flush. You actually played the hand perfectly and just got a crappy result. Congrats on the 2nd place...a different card on the river and your crush this Sit & Go. Last edited by Steveg1976 : 3rd September 2008 at 5:00 PM. |

| Really well done, and sorry, you didnt play that final hand poorly, you in fact played it very well. You were just unlucky and when luck kicks in theres nothing you can do. You got your money in and he managed to suck out with a lucky river. Dont beat yourself up over it. To get 2nd out of 180 is a great effort and take pride in knowing only one person beat you and he only managed that through a lucky river card when he was actually favourite to lose. The goon shouldnt have even been in the pot with 7 3 anyway... |
