They are voice chat programs over the internet. many Gamers for MMORGS and FPS use em to talk to eachother. Wasn't sure if there was one or maybe an IRC chat

i have tried to get people in vent before. i have a few servers we can even use if people are interested.

I guess. I'd prefer an irc because I've never used or really heard of vent up until now and I'd have to learn how to use it...plus i don't have a good microphone (i'm currently really lazy)

vent equates to holding down a button or key and talking. or having it on voice-activated mode and just talking.

I think it would be fun to be able to talk to each other instead of type...... as long as the whole table could hear so no one thought about collusion.
