A system that allows me to cashout regularly... A system that allows me to cashout regularly... easier said that done of course. Just wondering if anyone here has any sort or system that they use for poker in order to maximize the chances of them cashing out regularly. A friend of mine use to keep $50 in his account and would only play $5 SnG's. He would even limit himself to a certain amount of SnG's per day. Though he never really cashed out very much money at the end of week, he was still able to cashout profit on an almost weekly basis. I personally find that I need some sort of stucture when it comes to playing poker. It's far to easy to go to the computer on a rainy day and just start playing, whereas if you limit yourself to playing a certain amount per day, or a certain number of games, it's more beneficial to you and your balance in the grand scheme of it all. The reason I ask is because I would like to start playing online again. I have dropped in for the occasional multitable SnG, but don't play as much as I use to. I just want get some ideas and advice on how to make the most of my money. I only plan to deposit $50, and was thinking about doing that $5 SnG system my friend likes doing... Anyone have any sort of playing system they could share?

One I've heard and I think I may do now is the 50-50 rule. As you go up (assuming you're a winning player), you take 50% of your profits. So if you start at $100 and build it to $200, you take $50 of that out and now have $150 online and $50 cashed out. How often you do the cashing out is up to you but it shouldn't be like after one session, probably a week or so at the shortest interval.

Artificially limiting the number of games you play doesn't make a great deal of sense to me though - if you're a winning player, why would you want to play less if you've got the time and funds available to you?If you're a losing player, you've got bigger problems than this to worry about. In either case though, $50 isn't much of a bankroll to be playing $5 SnGs with...

Also, while at the tables I suggest you fold when behind and bet when ahead. This is a great help when it comes to making a profit. |

Seems to me that you would be better off artificially setting a bankroll size with which you want to play. Say you only ever want to play 5$ SnGs...well you will probably want a BR of about 100-150$. So set your BR limit, and when you end up +50$ for the week or so, then take the excess out. If you lose money, then don't take money out until you are sufficiently (to make it worth your while) back over 150$ or w/e your BR will be at. I fail to see why/how anybody would play 5$ SnGs with only 50$ BR...
