| Super-Turbos Ive played 50, 6 person Super Turbo Sit and Go's on Carbon. I played the $1.06 Buy-In You start out with 1000 chips, Blinds are 50/100 and going up every 3 minutes. My first 20 games or so were a total loss. I ended up approximately $17 down. My next 30 games were approximately break even. Surprisingly enough my last 30 games I actually tightened up my starting range and played more position and patience. Still it's basically a Push/Fold game. My question is this. Is there anyone out there that has showed a consistant profit on these games. After 50 games (I realize it's too small of a sample) it seems a competition of dodging land minds and winning coin flips. Land minds being getting suck out on by any two suited cards, etc. I think I will move on to find another game. Just wanted anyone's opinion that was familiar with these. Thanks |

To play these consistantly I would want to be way overrolled to handle such swings and would want my mental game to be sharp to deal with it. I would also work on shove/fold ranges and percentages and look for a site that offers a great RB for traffic ratio. Truth is many players dont really have a clue in many forms of poker, not really anyway. I know I dont. |

Yea I know a few 100 is a small size but I've seen enough to know someone could absolute crush these games at $1.50 level, I think I could have about a 10% ROI over a few thousand games. I've had a few shots at $7 level and average level is better but still pretty bad and easily beatable by an experienced player. |

I think your underestimating the swings a little, they are beatable but in no way easily beatable. Though I wish you luck and I may try a few hu hypers down the line after my turbo game gets a bit better. |

hypers hu are far suprior to turbo hu imo and I'd move on to them now rather than later. You can get a superior hourly playing hypers as well as people being super expoitable at micros. |

| I Used to frequent these games, And I can tell you, the swings are dramatic. I have lost 15 games in a row before, but also I have won 3 4 in a row as well. You just have to have a solid shove/fold strat. and watch your tables. You will figure out who is going to call you light, and who is too tight. Shove more on the tight players, fold more ( even some premiums ) vs light callers, because the biggest point of the game is survival rather than show down value. When you are card dead ( happens all too often ) you need to learn to pick spots to shove. Not to bluff, but just to steal. This is when you look for your tight players, if you shove on a guy who calls and shoves light, he will call your T7o with Q9s because it looks pretty, and you are already behind. Vs. a tight player, if he calls you, your screwed but your play was + EV in the long hall. You def need a huge roll for this, and can not become result oriented. This game you will lost to crap, win with crap, lost with monsters, and of course win with monsters. The best way to treat these games is by knowing who to steal the blinds from, because THIS is the biggest key to the game. everyone is short, so eveyone is shoving lighter, thus others should be calling lighter. Anyone have any specific questions let me know, I had a thread going on my own ST gaming, but my hud is glitching for Tourneys right now |

| re: Super-Turbos poker ofc, on super turbos u can fail hard because blinds are big and growing up rlly fast so u dont have time to w8 better hands and games like that is about 80% luck... Personally i never liked super turbos, i vote for slow lvl up, deepstack tours where you can rlly play some good poker |
